I had a fantastic meal at Gurkha’s this evening. I was dining solo and everyone there was so nice to me and made me feel very welcome. The lusani tikka and salmon shaslik were both absolutely delicious, as were the garlic naan, jeera aloo and pilau rice. I’ve eaten at Gurkha’s many times with my daughter and son-in-law who live nearby and every meal has been excellent.

Delicious food. First time we’ve ordered a delivery from Gurkha’s and it won’t be the last!
We really enjoyed it and the menu shows all allergens which is important to me as I can’t eat gluten. My food came with the containers marked GF too. Portions are really generous too. Definitely recommend.

Second time we have ordered take away from here! The best take away curries we have ever had, even the complimentary salad that comes with everything is so refreshing and fresh unlike many that you get that are often just soggy cucumber and limp iceberg. Can’t wait to visit in person when lockdown rules ease. The chicken and paneer curries that we ordered are so flavoursome and amazing value for money! Perfect anniversary lockdown meal

So the food here has improved tremendously. Tonight we ordered a take away and were extremely happy with the quality, spices, sauces, bread etc.
I had the gohst podina which was sublime and highly recommended.
The lumle pumpkin and veg MOMO also great. Very efficient and nice guys definitely worth a visit or ordering a takeaway!

The food is here is that delicious it actually frightens me.
Ill be honest i have only had takeaways and not a huge range of the dishes available, but its only because the stuff that i have tried is so nice that i dont want to deviate.
I cant wait to actually go to the restaurant and experience their hospitality, and ask them to advise some other dishes to try.
Cheers Gurkha's, it is a huge privilege to live close enough to be able to eat your stunning food on a regular basis.

We ordered a takeaway from the restaurant as we were staying locally and I decided to go with this place to order a takeaway based on the reviews.
I can't remember what I ordered exactly but it was a lamb curry, which was nice. The starter I had vegatable samosa, which were ok but quite greasy. My rice and papadoms were nice and fresh and complimented the curry well. Overall I liked my meal, I was able to save some for lunch the next day and it tasted better than the night before, it usually does.
My partner ordered a Biryani and he said he didn't like it at all. My partner's family members make Biryani, so maybe he has quite high expectations. But usually I'm much fussier than him, so for him to not like something it takes quite a lot. But he didn't even finish his food, which is rare.
I'm not sure if we would order here again. I enjoyed my food, but I wasn't completely overwhelmed.
I hope this is helpful to anyone else.

I made the drive again to Gurkha's from Bexleyheath passing many restaurants on the way. after all this time. The food made it so worthwhile, great taste, pleasant service and properly manged and prepared from the virus situation.
A pleasure to dine there and I am already planning my return in fact I am imagining my next dish.
Thank you Gurkha's, be back soon.

Myself and husband visited tonight and have to say this is the best restaurant in the area! The staff are so polite and friendly, nothing is too big an ask. They were very attentive and took all of the necessary covid procedures. Our food was very tasty and exactly as we ordered. We will definitely come back and spread the word- do not miss out!!

This restaurant is fantastic. To adhere to the social distancing they had purchase some screens which unfortunately was a bit flimsy ( the staff told us it didn't look like it when they order them).
The food, service and staff as ever was friendly, fast and good quality . Always good to come back to here.

Third visit to this Nepalese-Indian restaurant on South London's Sydenham Road. This is so much more than your usual right-round-the-corner curry house. Superb food and a knowledgeable and attentive staff. Very quiet. Exceptionally clean. Try any of the chef's specialties (on this occasion, we had the barbecue chicken and sherpa lamb), although the entire menu deserves investigation.

This was my third visit and the food and service have been consistently good… The portions are ample and the food of a very high standard and quality.. each time I’ve been, I’ve introduced another diner and we all leave happy!! THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF

Every year I have all my football friends around to my house in Sydenham for an end of season curry. We play a friendly vets game (45-79 is the age range) every week.
This year we had 29 people for the curry and I ordered it from Ghurkhas. As it was such a big take away order I spoke to them a few days ahead of schedule to make sure they would be able to handle it.
They did a brilliant job. The whole order was ready as planned on 20 December at 7.15 PM as agreed and everything was perfectly boxed up and warm when we got it home (we live only 5 mins away).
We had a super evening of excellent curry and a few beers and much good fun looking back on our season.
Thank you to all the staff at Ghurkas and Merry Xmas.

Had takeaway order on Friday. The food was very nice, tasty and just as expected from this restaurant. Have been going there over the years takeaway or eat in and never disappointed.
