Excellent food, great quality service and reasonable prices, friendly staff we had family dinner at istanbul meze mangal

We ordered takeaway. The food was inedible. My wife had a moussaka which apparently tasted as bad as it looked. I had a Falafel wrap. At first we thought they'd forgotten to pack it but there was. a very thin, very tightly wrapped tinfoil package....No hummus, no salad, wrapped in a soggy flatbread. I tasted a bit of the falafel it was far too salty to eat. It all came with soggy funny tasting chips, neither of us could quite place what the flavour was. If I was to guess to cool them down someone had dropped them in a bucket of water. Really disappointing as if a tiny bit of care had been taken this would have been lovely. Ignore the high scoring reviews this place is a dump.More

Called to order a collection. Was told they are too busy. Didn’t even get chance to tell them the order was going to be In the region of £750 Turned up in person to order and place was empty (see photo) and waiter was particularly...Marty as well saying that they were expecting a busy night and so collections were not being accepted. Used to eat here a lot. Gone downhill over the last few years. Probably insist on people sitting down to make the place look busy. Broken chairs, scruffy upholstery, only one high chair for a child that’s also broken, rude staff, all become too commonplace and sometime intimidating if you don’t fit the demographic of their preferred clientele. Food is nice but that is only ever and always one part of eating out. Hopefully they will learn this one day.More

Amazing quality food, Amazing and hard working staff, great atmosphere and well looked after. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and nice and clean all in all amazing place

We have been Father’s Day it was so busy but we have amazing experience staff and managers so helpful we order family pack it was divine very good service and ambiance thanks for making special

I went their last friday with my friends in inside,decoration was very nice inside and the manager and stuff was very nice,specially I appreciate managers work,how he managed to gave us a table in rush time..cocktails was top notch..will visit again soon…

I been to Istanbul meze mangal on father’s day..although they were so busy…but the stuff was so friendly and food was very nice,specially the lamb ribs which was perfectly cooked,fantastic service…highly recommended..

We went to the restaurant for Fathers Day which just completely ruined the day. Firstly we were seated at a table for 2 people we were a party of 3 the table was far too small & crowded when we asked to move to a...bigger table the manager was rude & told us he had other bookings we reminded him we had also booked a table for 3 not a table for 2. Looking around the restaurant there were at least 2 other tables with the same problem also asking to move. The restaurant was clearly over booked & it was clear everyone was being rushed so they could get the next diners in. We ordered our starters & mains & we’re asked if we wanted all the food at once or the starters first then the mains we advised we wanted the starts first & the mains later once the starters were finished we were asked this by 3 different members of staff including the manager despite confirming 3 times our mains were brought out shortly after the starters we sent them back & told them we had confirmed 3 times we wanted the starters after the mains then every 2 minutes we had a member of staff come & ask if we were ready for the mains which was extremely annoying & frustrating. When the mains arrived one of the three mains were cold by the time another was cooked the other 2 diners had finished their meal. The food was not that great in-fact quite bland it’s definitely not as nice as it used to be & has really gone downhill. I would not return or recommend . The restaurant was overbooked overcrowded people sat on tables that were too small & crowded the service was poor it was clear there was no care or attention to detail everything was rushed it felt like was in a factory everything rushed to get you in & out so the next diners could take your place. The customer service was terrible & it was clear the manager don’t care as long as his sitting as many diners as possible there was no apologies for any of the mistakes made to us. Customer service was poor the food was poor & rushed really poor experience not the Father’s Day meal we were expecting.More

Honestly the tastiest food i ever had!Drinks 10/10 ,friendly and helpful staff and lovely atmosphere! Will visit again soon!!!

What a superstar of a restaurant! The Perl of Colliers Wood! Extremely good food, large portions, and the service is amazing. The prices are quite reasonable. There’s a garden where in the evenings the atmosphere is “party time” with loud music and belly dancers. Inside...is quite classy. The whole thing is topped up with the dessert list😋More
