We visited here for my 21st birthday. Our food was lovely and came quick! I had the spicy seafood pasta which was delicious! However, my boyfriend ordered a £55 steak and when it came it was the smallest cut of steak he has had when...ordering at a restaurant. Therefore, this was not the value for money we expected. The waiters did not ask whether we would like anymore drinks even though both of our glasses were empty. We were left for over 45 minutes with the desert menu waiting to order, so we just asked for the bill as we could not wait any longer. We would probably still be sat there for another hour until someone came over. Overall, amazing views and lovely food but the extremely poor service let’s it down. Especially with an added service charge of 13.5% we definitely expected far better for a luxury restaurant.More

Me and my friend headed here for afternoon tea, we were greeted by a lovely lady who took us to the bar for a drink while they got our table ready. We headed over and ordered the standard afternoon tea. It cost £60 each. The...views were absolutely stunning although we weren’t sat next to the window which was disappointing. The scones were lovely but the desserts were inedible. There were 4 in total and my friend and I couldn’t even stomach a quarter of any of them. They had all been ruined by trying to be too fancy, this kind of ruined the experience as when paying £60 for a meal, you hope to enjoy at least one of the 4 desserts available.More

Afternoon tea - desserts were terrible! I didn't even eat any. My husband pretty much eats anything and even he took a bite and was so disappointed. We brought a friend over from the US and it just wasn't worth the experience, we have been...to other places, I would recommend Tiffany's blue box or other places but really avoid here for afternoon tea there are better places out here. We had to ask for new cups and spoons since they were not cleaned, just not the best experience, you're paying for the views which I would recommend that you go up the shard rather than paying for the food.More

We had Afternoon Tea for two in the Oblix restaurant at the Shard on the 33rd floor. Bill our waiter was attentive and informative. The food was fantastic. 10 finger sandwiches of varying fillings (all scrumptious), 4 scones (2 plain /2 fruit) with raspberry jam...and Cornish clotted cream ( delicious), 2 eclair-type dessert rolls with dipping chocolate (sublime) and 10 assorted mini cakes( mind-blowing) with pots of tea ( Assam breakfast / Raspberry and Rose). The views were the icing on the cake and there were plenty of those!! The bar pre -meal was relaxing and spot on.More

We took my Mom for her 80th birthday. This restaurant was the perfect place for a milestone birthday. Everything was great from start to finish. As an appetizer we shared a market salad and a roasted sweet pepper, feta, hazelnut salad, both delicious. As an...entree we ordered the Roasted Chicken with Rosemary and Potato Au Gratin side and Spice Pasta. For dessert we had a cheesecake with mango and coconut ice cream. Everything was so good and especially the Chicken dish. Our server was great and sang my Mom Happy Birthday as well. Views were beautiful especially at sunset. I highly recommend!!!!More

Amazing setting with stunning views over London. When we arrived we were seated given the menu's and told someone will be with us shortly. After 15 minutes I had to get up and go to the register to complain that nobody had even took a...drinks order. There were 2 people at the register one a man who I think was in charge was apologetic and a lady who I can only describe at rude. Anyway I was followed back to the table the man took our food order and the lady took our drinks order. The starter's arrived one at once which was very strange and the wine had still not arrived. The lady eventually brough the bottle of wine we ordered she showed it to me then went back to the wine station and talked to a colleague for a further 10 minutes in full view of our table. The wine finally arrived just before the main course. The lady should not be working in the service industry with that amount of disregard for the customer. Needless to say we won't be going back and I won't be recommending the Oblix to any of my friends. The food was okay but not worth the money.More

The views of London are outstanding! You have uninterrupted views of London and the surrounding area’s from St. Paul’s Cathedral to Tower Bridge and beyond. I would recommend going here for their exquisite drinks and incredible service. The food was beyond exceptional! Highly recommended the...carpaccio starter! The tomahawk streak was exceptional! A fantastic evening!More

We booked Oblix for our Grandsons 18th Birthday as a treat and we all loved it. The complete experience is what it’s all about not just the food. When you arrive you can have a drink first but when we were there the bar was...closed so we went straight to the table. The views as you expect are great but the service is fantastic. You walk through the kitchen/prep area to get to your table which is a nice move. They serve a selection of cocktails I’ve not seen before but were really good. I had the steak with mash and creamed spinach and it was cooked to perfection. My wife had the fish and it was lovely. Every dish was really good and well presented and carefully prepared. Amazing flavours and tastes across all the dishes. Be prepared for an expensive evening though, we only had two people having a few drinks but the bill for 4 people for two courses was £550 so it’s not a cheap evening out but as you only go occasionally it’s worth it and a great memory for my Grandson.More

Day out in London. Booked this restaurant on the 32nd floor. Does not open until 12 noon. But great views. Choose from 2 restaurants. Good service. Good food but you will pay!

I've found myself increasingly hard to please when going out to eat - often feeling disappointed or left with a sense of 'meh'. A birthday brunch at Oblix has been an experience which I won't forget in a hurry. The salmon with horseradish served with...seawood crackers, salmon tartare, aged rib eye to a dessert platter - all the courses felt like gifts that kept on giving. And talking of gifts, a big shout out goes to the entire team at Oblix. A warm welcome, smiles from the chefs on walking in through the open kitchen to our waiter (Laurent - a man of impeccable style and debonair!) and sommelier. I've been to many restaurants and Oblix stands tall amongst them.More

Food was nice but the service was abysmal. We got stuck in the bar for more than half an hour because the table wasn’t ready ,no drinks offered The drinks we ordered when we finally got to our table didn’t arrive until the main course...did ,despite me repeatedly asking for them. We didn’t get food until 21.20 when our table was booked for 20.00 Bill was incorrect, manager not bothered Food was lovely thought,I couldn’t fault it . This was a return visit as it was so good in December,we decided to bring some close friends for their anniversary. We won’t be back in the future, which is a shame as we stay next door at Shangri La quite often, where the service is fantastic.More

The view from the restaurant is quite nice. You can enjoy the river thames and the london bridge view from the top of the Sharp building. The food was good too. Atmosphere was ok as well.

Nice welcome from a lovely girl. All went down hill from there really! The service is appalling. If you want to feel special I’d advise somewhere else. To be completely honest I’ve had better service at the local pub. Starter was lovely, can’t fault the...food, though the mains weren’t quite as fine dining as you’d expect. But still good. It’s chaotic, hectic and not refined in the slightest. Views are lovely though, but I wouldn’t return to eat here. They obviously charge gratuity automatically to your bill. Then they “ask” you to pay a further tip. I was actually angry at that point as the service was awful and some waiting staff could do with a customer service course. The whole experience fell short especially for the cost. I’d advise if you want to feel special or have a quiet fine dining meal - go elsewhere . This is not the place sadly. Deflated!More

I went to the oblix on 16 March 2024 and had a counter seat. The food itself was nicely presented and delivered in good timing however the service was absolutely appalling! I wouldn’t go back there if the service remains the same. We were served...by a man with dark hair, Italian accent, light skinned and fairly short. 1. He got our cocktails wrong and his table manners were terrible. 2. He was very erratic and seemed to be rushing us. The whole counter was empty and nobody was waiting for the table as we were the last ones on the counter and it was around 9:45pm 3. We were served lobster and 5 minutes after he took away the plate when it was still untouched. He did the same with three other dishes. 4. He got our order of chips wrong 3 times, how is that possible? 5. He gave us the bill and dessert at the same time. Whilst eating dessert he got the card machine out and stood behind us waiting for payment 6. He asked if we wanted clean plates after our food had arrived instead of asking before the food came 7. When ordering he said that we couldn’t have certain dishes even though they were serving them. There was a new Asian lady who was nicer but it was clear she had no idea what she was doing. The male server apologised for her service on her behalf she said “she’s wrong but she’s new, ignore her”. Our bill totalled approximately £350. The food itself was nice. However, for the awful service, I wouldn’t recommend the oblix to anyone.More
