A really nice place. Not that big place, but really cozy. Good latte and sallad. Chicken baguette was good, sovwad the cheese and ham too. Highly recommended place to stop.

This place always has people for breakfast, lunch or tea time.. it's really nicely decorated and the service is good. The only thing I would've liked is more variety in pastries for tea time. Despite that, I think I will come back soon.

This is a reasonably-priced alternative for breakfast or lunch in the Victoria area. Food is delicious and well-prepared. Good choice for breakfast if you're staying at the Rubens.

We chose to sit outside because it was full inside and I was glad. It was so much fun to sit and people watch while having a full English tea lunch. The sandwiches and cakes were very good and the tea was spot on. It's...More

Stopped in on a whim while walking back to our hotel. It was too late for afternoon tea, but we ordered a couple of tea/lattes to rest and then head back out. I ordered the caramel latte and it was delicious. I don’t generally like...More

One of the best tea shops I went to in London. The food and service were great and the tea was splendid. I would highly recommend this to someone looking for a cozy cute place to get great food and a fantastic pot of tea....More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to

Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are

The English Rose is a warm, welcoming cafe and tea room just a stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle of Victoria. We are an independent English family run cafe and catering business. We pride ourselves on our 'everything from scratch' attitude, with all our food being completely home-made, including our delicious cakes and scones! The English Rose is like an escape to a cosy Grandma's living room complete with gilt-rimmed mismatch china cups and saucers, picture filled walls, and an old (playable!) piano. Open 7 days a week, providing amazing eat-in and take-away prices (especially for painfully expensive central London!), The English Rose is the place for a little break from your standard cafe!
