Any amount of Greek offerings that you could desire. Very friendly, great laid back service. Only place in London that sells a good Fredo Espresso which is a joy. Chocolate is also delicious. Pop in if you are about

For anyone living in London, it is perfectly understandable when you say the sun is out and it's hot. Happens rarely, but when it does, you are not prepared! This little paradise has excellent ice coffee, which is a great pleasure to have on days like this! It also happens to be extremely packed, regardless of weather!

Whenever I visit Piccadilly circus, I have to start my day with a Freddo Espresso. Carpo is now like my second home, it has a great ambience.

This is a kind of a Greek nik-naks shop which also serves coffee on two small tables or takeaway. We have found the coffee to be battery acid, totally fit for the bin. The nik-naks are more interesting, everything is very fresh and the staff are sort of polite offering samples of snack to try. Their Greek halva is particularly... More

You simply cannot walk by this shop without noticing it! The display of chocolates, nuts and dried fruit is stunning. The staff was warm and welcoming! A few dark chocolate/nut clustered were the perfect ending to a lovely day at nearby Akasha Spa.

It was cold with that mixed rain-snow in London, when we decided to head up for a coffee. The place was packed, but we were immediately greeted by the barista in charge, who kindly recommended me a good tea for my sore-throat, and a special capuccino for my girlfrind, followed by a nice conversation with the friendly staff... we came... Description
London's new, luxury, healthy, delicious, artisan, snackers' paradise

Top quality nuts, dried fruit, chocolate and coffee have a new home in London in the form of Carpo, a magical emporium of a store in the heart of Piccadilly selling the very finest snacks from across the world.

Carpo is unlike other luxury food vendors in that it takes its customer journey a step further, immersing shoppers in the flavours, smells and sounds of the products and countries where they come from, giving a complete sensory experience.

Its extensive range stretches from popular favourites such as pistachios, peanuts and almonds, to the less familiar like whole sweet preserved lemons, goji berries and dried kiwi fruits. While the raw materials are from far and wide, much of the process and production required to get many of the ingredients from nature to the shop floor takes place here, and many products are straight from the oven to the shelf.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
