During the horrible events the other night in borough market, the wonderful staff here got us off the streets and safe. They helped me and my friend charge our phones, make calls and to check the news. They were truly life savers and an example...More

My favourite gastropub in the London Bridge / Bermondsey Street area. I have been several times with my wife and/or friends and we have never been disappointed! Craft beer, delicious food and good wine.

Just dropped in for a quick Sunday evening beer and got far more than we expected! Craft beer, craft lager and lovely plain chocolate with roasted hazelnuts thrown in too. Friendly staff, ambience and atmosphere.

Very good, mainly French, staff. Wine good value. Atmosphere welcoming and, at 12.00 on a Sunday, plenty of space, although I have seen it heaving in the evenings.Sunday roast was fine but not top drawer

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some
time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved
browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest
