The Horse and Groom (aka Dobbin and Crimper to Shepherd Neame fans) A gem of a pub. Small, cosy, serving fantastic food. Definitely worth a visit - you won’t be disappointed.

This is one of those places you don’t want to tell people about because then everyone will want to go there! A lovely hidden gem, full of character, great service and amazing staff. Food is always good and there’s a great variety of drinks available....Definitely worth a visit to this proper local.More
If you are looking for a traditional London pub with a great atmosphere and superb landlord/staff, this is the place for you. The drink selection is great, the food is excellent and it’s one of the warmest welcomes you will get from anywhere. I can’t...recommend this pub enough.More
The best pub in London! We recently visited this pub with my family, the food is amazing and very good value for the area. We strongly recommend this pub the fish and chips is the best we tried in London.
Really lovely and friendly pub in a beautiful mews location in Belgravia a short walk from Buckingham Palace. The landlord and staff are very welcoming and it was a nice atmosphere. We were starving hungry so had the fish and chips which was really fresh...and a generous portion. They serve champagne 🍾 and some nice beers so we were both happy! Had a great night and found out their Sunday lunch is very popular as well.More
The Horse & Groom is a hidden gem! With a cozy atmosphere, great drinks, and the best staff, it's the perfect spot for a fun time. A must-visit!
The most welcoming pub in London. We had been at an event at the Irish Embassy for our people the Irish Travellers and other groups. Very often landlords turn us away but this gentleman welcomed us with open arms and even rearranged the seating! A...cosy traditional pub with a great atmosphere..but the landlord is the star! I'll be back!More
The bar is tucked away at the end of a quiet street. Nice atmosphere inside and out. Lovely staff who make everyone feel welcome. A gentleman seated at a table next to us had gluten allergy and the staff went out of their way to...accommodate him. At 8:15 pm on a Tuesday, the pub was full outside and in. We enjoyed our drinks which were good and reasonably priced. The burgers were disappointing. My burger was cooked fine, still had some traces of pink in the middle. My husband’s was overcooked. The buns were barely toasted and were mushy. The tomatoes were sliced too thick and were shooting out of the burgers with every bite. Even the chips weren’t crispy. Come for a drink but not the food.More
We popped in here after a morning and afternoon of sight seeing. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine and sandwiches and both were very good. Since it was almost mid-afternoon, it was pretty quiet but we loved the decor and the staff was...very friendly. We hope to return again!More
Walked in pissed off after a bit of a challenging day, no one looked us up and down in a “ you’re not local “ expression, walked out smiling and absolutely wellied 4 hours later, great place
This is my favourite pub in London. The pub itself is beautiful, tucked away in a very nice location on a mews street in Belgravia. What makes it the best is the owner, Afrim, a true gentleman and an amazing host, his staff are all...amazing too. Great choice of food and drinks. Do not hesitate to visit this pub, you certainly will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work Afrim and team!More
Great little find in a hidden corner of Belgravia. This was our first stop when we arrived in town. The bar keep was friendly. The food was great. A perfect start to our trip! Thank you!!
Within 15 seconds of entering the noisy cramped pub I managed to offend the barman. My crime: not recognising that he had been yelling hello to me the second I entered. I explained to him I didn’t realise he was talking to me, I had...my headphones on and was looking for my friends, but he insisted on arguing and making a scene. He direct me to my friends upstairs and made a smart-alec comment. I told him loudly he didn’t need to be rude and went upstairs. It turned out he had offended several of my friends too. I suspect that barman was a bit drunk. Ten mins later the he comes upstairs just to address me and makes another loud scene - stating it was his pub and insisting he wasn’t being rude but was just “cheeky”. I tried to make peace by shaking his hand but he kept going on and on! We were all mortified, and agreed this it wasn’t normal behaviour, including the adjacent table. We decided to continue our evening at another establishment. What a bizarre interaction, nothing like this had ever happened to any of us!More
