We went thorough a lot of troubles to reach this restaurant in North Finchley, as it appeared to be one of the few "eat all you can" sushi restaurant in London. You must take 4 cold dishes and 4 hot dishes, with the hot plates...served first. This is really a tactic to fill you immediately, as the hot dishes are heavy and not particularly nice. The choice is limited and the sushi, reason to go there, is nothing special. Suggestion: unless you live nearby, do not bother. No complaints about the staff, though.More

Been here many times with my girlfriend or friends. Always good food and good service. Sushi is very tasty and so is the tempura, noodles and miso soup.

We went a as family and opted for the eat as much as you like set menu. After the first round of food (where we could choose 2 small dishes each), I felt quite bad. The sushi was not great, with a lot of mayonnaise...and generally not very tasty. While we were waiting for the second round I felt too bad to stay. I went outside for some fresh air and left my wife to settle the bill. To my surprise when she came out she told me we were charged the full price of £20 a head plus the drinks, which came to £97 even though we only had a dish or two each (small dishes, eg one was of 1 prawn each) My view is that we had poor food and experienced extremely poor service.More

We were staying in the area and decided to eat at AI Sushi. We opted for the ‘Eat as much as you like’ set menu for £19.99 per person. This proved to be an excellent choice. Great portions, plenty of choice and everything we ordered...was absolutely delicious. Food was all freshly made. The staff were attentive and friendly, service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. All prices, including drinks, were reasonable and we left feeling like we had had an excellent meal and good value for money. We’d definitely recommend this restaurant and will eat here again on our next trip.More

We ordered through Deliveroo as our regular sushi take out was too busy. The sashimi salad was all lettuce and the sushi we ordered was definitely far from value for money. £50 worth of sushi and we were left hungry. Give it a miss!

Amazing food! I've been to a chain AYCE Sushi, and that has more rice, this is less rice and more fish. Cooked foods are also nice. It's a shame that they have only 3 portions allowed of the wasabi prawn, but that's similar to other...places. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Manager at restaurant, sorry, can't remember your name, but he went above and beyond to make sure we were seated and had a good experience (I've been here a few times, but forgot to book and it was busy)More

It was the first time I have tried this restaurant and I have to say...it won’t be my last. I took my nephew for his first ever Japanese restaurant and he was impressed. I asked the waitress for some help choosing from the all you...can eat menu(a few restrictions only) and she was really helpful and spoke to my nephew with kindness. We both enjoyed trying all the different options on the menus....but we couldn’t try them all as it was too much for us both. Our stomachs were full after the third set and I couldn’t finish it all unfortunately...yet it was all delicious. My nephew gives a massive thumbs up for the place and when I asked if he would come back...he said...definitely:)More

A friend of mine suggested this lovely place and introduced me to a sushi buffet. We visited this lovely resturant as part of the eat out to help out scheme and I would certainly go back after this end in august and in fact we...ended up visiting twice this week. Lovely atmosphere, air con made it a bit cold but other then that it had lovely authentic style seating and lovely staff. Food was fresh and although it did not rate well on the food standards agency we felt the freshness of the sushi rolls and cooked hot plates to. Great place to visit with friends, family and socialising while sharing amazing food. Ramen was also on the menu and hit the spot for my other half who was after a good bowl for a while. Buffet and menu option available. Trust your tastebuds and visit this lovely gem.More
