Sadly a very disappointing experience. Having been twice before ( when was good) last night went with friends only to have complete lack of attention/ service / cold food etc etc) Waiters inexperienced girlfriend was helping out as not enough staff. We ( and others) refused to pay service charge and left without a desire to ever go back. What... More

We were taken by our Godson who lives locally and what a good find. Basically it is Indian style Tapas, and we had the following dishes between us. Samosas, Kofte (Meatballs), Hari Murghi (Roast Chicken), Shami Kebabs, Machli Salan (Fish Curry), lamb Chops and Daal Lentils.plus steamed rice. Total bill with drinks came to £100.00 with optional service charge of... More

Came here for dinner with a friend. I've walked past it thousands of times before and never really paid attention. It's a beautiful restaurant, really nice, fresh atmosphere. Food is good - lamb stew was amazing! Reasonably priced, we paid £50 for food and a cocktail each. Would definitely visit again.

I ordered the egg curry, rice and paratha. The paratha was dry and quite hard, rather than soft and oily, and didn't taste of much. The egg curry also wasn't great - it tasted mostly of cumin and was very oily which I was surprised about for a restaurant that markets itself as a healthy version of Indian food.

Small plates that average between £6-7 each. Between two we had 7 including breads which was just right. Everything was really good - lamb chops and cod fillets especially. Very reasonably priced (about £35 each including wine) with friendly service. Will definitely return!

Samosas have NO indication of MEAT filling on the menu, yet that is how they come. Voice your complaints until they CHANGE the misleading menu. POOR communication. How dare they adulterate a recipe that is supposed to have potatoes and peas only. Other than that the daal, aloo vegetable and paratha were excellent.

Booked a table over a month ago only to turn up and be told they had triple booked our table and even though there were empty tables in the restaurant we were told we could only sit at the bar on high stools. Normally not a great problem but this was a stretch for my elderly parents. Awful that they... More

I ordered a delivery from Zumbura last night and it was awful. Deliveroo was exceptional and the timing was great- however, the food was very disappointing. Having ordered kebabs ( 3 circular processed meat- tasting disasters in a box with purple picked 'things'), healthy bread ( tasted and looked like uncooked and flattened cardboard- tasteless), half a jar of dull... I love this place. Great dishes - Indian with a modern twist in sharing plate sizes, a good wine list, very friendly and efficient staff, and some great cocktails too. One of my favourite locals.

Zumbura in Clapham Old town is a great, chilled, friendly restaurant that serves tasty Indian tapas styled small plates. Dishes are delicious. Drinks and the wine are good. Order here loads of different plates and share them. The best part is that the restaurant is casual and you can take your time. Really enjoyed it.
