Really nice options for a healthy bite to eat. I loved the dumpling soup i got from very friendly staff which was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back but they dont have a lot of vegetarian options on their menu which is a little sad.

on way to meeting saw abokado which I use in W1 and know its menu. The chicken wraps are virtually fat free so a very healthy lunch so I bought 4 ! no one else in the shop so service prompt but not friendly or smiley. There are lots of places to eat so staff could be a little friendlier... More

Definitely not so much of a detox, but greasy, slimy noodles, laced with onions ( cheaper to make.... completely different soup) this was my local...very disappointed as it will now be Itzu and pret!

Well, everything was overcooked and the sauces were all over the place in terms of flavour and ingredient options. Ok if you're short on cash and need a quick bite.

Abokado is a great late afternoon snack-stop, when I know I'll be in the office until after dark. Everything is fresh and healthy and 1/3 off everything after 5pm!

Bought a sashimi set. When opened the fish smelled as if it had been left to rot in the sun for a few days. Awful experience. Clearly will not be going again.

Fast food is fast food - no complaints there. Their sashimi is excellent. Better than Itsu. However, was served a glu wishy washy chicken noodle soup which was labelled as something along the lines of sizzling coconut chicken hot spicy soup - nothing of the sort. Neither spicy or tasty - had to throw it away and also £5.69 too.... More

Great little place with a lovely variety of meals from salad, to sushi, to noodles and curry. The low calorie count is also great for those trying to eat better (less calories for lunch means feelings less guilty about having the cheeky caramel slice that's also on offer). Shame there isn't more seating in there but that's probably the only... More

Chicken Udon - a few bits of chicken and mange tout in a watery, flavourless chicken stock does not a chicken udon make. £5.69 too. Very disappointing. I will not be returning.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
