Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely staff and great location to meet after work. Only drank here but the drinks were well priced and service was speedy. Nice clean pub and glasses were cleared from our table regularly. In my opinion a top London pub!

Had my leaving do at the Perseverance. As there was around 20 of us I was able to get the function room upstairs which was quieter than downstairs, which was buzzing (Thursday eve) great to see it so busy! The staff at this pub are...great, and the pizzas are delicious. Thanks guys!More

My fiancé had an appointment round the corner which I was unable to accompany her on. I needed a spot to work for the afternoon. We had a lovely pizza for lunch and then I had a couple of soft drinks followed by a pint...when I was done. Lovely friendly staff made it a really comfortable place to be. One minor criticism was that there was no tea or coffee (which I would have welcomed in the afternoon). I understand not wanting a whole range of posh stuff, but a kettle and a decent instant would do me. Luckily my fiancé was allowed to grab a take-away from across the road and drink it whilst waiting for the second half of her appointment.More

This was my first time at a London pub and it was so cozy, friendly and had such a fun environment! The beer was great, the servers were all so kind and fun, and they had a very active bar trivia night that we got...to tag along with for a little bit. Had such a warm vibe, I would totally go here again!!More

Few tables outside. Sunny day and the street is almost car free. Nice beer and a lovely rhubarb G & T. The service is so friendly too. 100% we'll be back. Wouldn't make a special trip but when in the area again for sure.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Cod and chips were very good. Drink prices high but this is London. Generic white wine £10. Ate upstairs in comfortable room. Be aware, no high chairs available if you are traveling with small child. Bar itself was very...busy on a Friday afternoon. Order food at bar, order was quickly taken. All in all would go again.More

I swung by here about 20.00 on a Saturday night. There were just 9 people in, 5 of them in one group. I tried a pint of Decca, which didn’t really float my boat. It’s a nice enough room downstairs, I didn’t look upstairs. I...didn’t eat, but the menu looked fine. I was at the end of a whole week’s pub crawl, so was maybe a bit jaded and didn’t give it a fair crack of the whip.More
