Found this place while walking along the Thames Path. Hayes Galleria is very nice place, a glass roof between two big brick buildings. Small Bagel bar in the corner sells variety of bagels with various options of fillings, and reasonably priced & very nice coffee. Self order at counter and sit on patio style chairs. Its an outside but all... More

Quick, effective, tasty and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quick lunch break that tastes good and fresh.

I'd never known that a donut looking bread can be eaten with all sorts of fillings in it, be it vegetarian or meat by one's choice, as a meal. I relished a nice soft bagel with tuna mayo red onion in it on a cold windy wet day by the waterside near the HMS Belfast. Operating from a mobile counter... More

Stopped here for a quick coffee & bagel. Very nice. Is really more of a takeaway than eat in coffee shop, which is what we did.

Stopped here after a long walk by the Thames with my daughter on a Sunday afternoon. A favourite place as the bagels are really good. Try the smoked salmon and cream cheese or the Chicken caesar served warm. Nice staff too.

We stopped here for breakfast and I had the salmon and cream cheese bagel and my wife had the bacon and egg on a bagel. Both were very good and the bagels seemed freshly made. It is a great start to your day. You can grab a bagel, juice, or coffee and go for a walk on the Thames as... More

This is a cart in Hay's Galleria well worth a visit you sit outside but under cover of the awesome steel and glass roof. The staff are very friendly and they make an excellent cup of tea

If you are in the area of Hay's Galleria and don't want to spend a fortune on lunch this is a nice choice. Just a little food wagon with a few outdoor (but under cover of the roof) seats. We really enjoyed the bagels for our lunch, freshly made and tasty. Plus the staff were friendly. Just what we needed... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
