Visited with large family group. Food and service good. Surprised that the there wasn’t anything to mark our celebration. No mention by the staff. This was the reason for our family trip to London and our choice of a special restaurant. Shame .
We were given coffee with caffeine after my husband specifically ordered two decaf coffee. I have an allergy to caffeine and was very unwell back at our hotel and all night I could not sleep and my heart was racing for hours. Our evening had...been very enjoyable our second visit in a few days and the food, wine and service excellent. But for either the waitress or guy behind the bar to not give us decaff coffee as ordered was shocking especially as I have a serious allergy to caffeine. My evening was ruined and after no sleep today I have a long journey back to the North of England and I feel shattered all because someone did not do the correct order. This is worrying as people like me with allergies can be seriously ill and the management needs to properly train staff to listen when taking orders and give them correctly.More
Amazing food. It was a special visit for our 25year anniversary and the food didn’t disappoint. Service and pace of courses coming out was perfect. Waitress was really helpful with advice. We were given a complimentary desert which just made the evening. Would definitely recommend...this restaurant and we will be returning.More
We had been considering a visit to this Restaurant for some time and as we were staying overnight in the area we booked a table in the main dining area - definitely not dissapointed.
We had an excellent meal - the food we chose for...all three courses was delicious - the wines (by the carafe) were great but the highlight was the service (especially Alex) - not in your face just very professional and helpful.
Definitely would recommend but would suggest booking in advance because we had to dine slightly earlier than we would have preferred but was not an issueMore
Admittedly we visited on a Saturday but this place was like disorganized chaos. We ordered a hot chocolate, pot of tea, a fishmonger sandwich with chips and a kids cheese burger. Once ordered you have to stand in amongst a crowd to wait for your...drinks to eventually appear (expect to wait around 15 mins for this). Whilst I was waiting for the drinks, our food had appeared on the table and was going cold- I need ent have worried, it was burned to a crisp and needed to be re-made, but was re-delivered with my (now cold) chips. The whole thing is backwards. Kids meals are bigger than adults but half the price and your drinks will come out after your food. An experience not to be repeated.More
We had a really lovely meal here. One reason for selecting it was the £10 set menu for children. As our kids enjoy good food and eating out (as do we!) we were looking for someplace where we could have a nice meal with them...- this fitted the bill well.More
Lunch at this delightful restaurant was a pleasure from first to last- the Mackerel starter was a delight followed by pasta/ragu. Service could not have been better informal but supremely competent staff. Cant wait to go back.
The entire experience was a disappointment from every point of view.
The room is poorly organised and unwelcoming. The service patronising. The food was mediocre - even the bread was ordinary, and my shellfish pasta tasteless. And the massive bill - £270 for 4 -...was disproportionate. We had the less expensive wines by the glass, only two cheap deserts and no expensive liqueurs. A simple request for a chunk of Parmesan cheese was rebuffed - ‘the kitchen stores it grated!’
One of the worst Italian meals I have ever experienced.More
The food is exceptional and the service marvellous but I will never visit again as they now allow dogs in the restaurant. The manager assured me that "staff always wash their hands if they touch a dog" Firstly they should not be touching dog and...secondly how do I know they have washed their hands?More

Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing
junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
