Really wonderful Italian food in substantial portions and attentive service - thoroughly recommended! The vegetable side dishes are huge, so don't order too many - we were too full for dessert.

We couldn’t recommend this restaurant more. We had a large round table of 14, mixed ages as it was a family meal which isn’t always the easiest finding somewhere suitable for, but this place completely exceeded our expectations. The food is INCREDIBLE everyone was getting...others to try theirs because it was so delicious. We even ordered extra starts and mains to share. Then towards the end of the meal, live jazz started. Just perfect.More

Great atmosphere, excellent service. . Authentic and excellent italian food. The best Italian restaurant in London!
Manuel's Restaurant is an absolute gem! My family have made it our go-to spot for unforgettable dining experiences. The attention to detail in every dish is truly remarkable, as you can see in the photos. One of our favorite traditions at Manuel's is the Sunday...roast, where Roberto masterfully carves our meat right at our table. His personal greeting adds a special touch to each visit, making us feel like part of the family. As well as Manuel, the incredble chef, Roberto, is a true gem. His service is impeccable, and he consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our dining experience is exceptional. We've dined here for over a decade, and it's not just the food that keeps us coming back — it's the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the incredible staff, and the personal touch from Manuel himself. I wholeheartedly recommend Manuel's to anyone visiting London. It's a culinary treasure you don't want to miss. The consistency in quality is truly remarkable. It's Manuel's love for his craft that sets his restaurant apart and makes every dining experience extraordinary. One particular instance left an indelible mark on our hearts. On a previous visit, I was craving Tiramisu for dessert, only to be told they had run out due to a busy service. But then, just when we thought our night couldn't get any better, they surprised us with the news that Manuel was crafting a fresh Tiramisu specially for us. Such dedication to exceptional service is a rare find. And as if to cap off our already fantastic experiences, they never fail to graciously treated us to complementary limoncello shots. Manuel's Restaurant is more than just a place to eat; it's a place where you're cared for, where every meal is a delight, and where memories are made. If you haven't been yet, you're truly missing out on something extraordinary.More
We had a superb meal at Manuel's. Each dish was simple but full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Good value for money. The seabass was particularly delicious, and expertly deboned by the maitre d' in front of us (a charming, old-school touch). He and...the other waiters were friendly and attentive while allowing us to get on with our meal. We were only sorry that we didn't choose the Sunday roast option, as the beef looked seriously impressive and we had real food envy when it was served to another table!More
Manuel's is brilliant. Great service with lovely staff. The food was very good - the artichokes starter was excellent. And the atmopshere was superb (they had live music). An absolute gem of a place.
This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is exceptional and the service is always fantastic. The food is cooked from fresh and never disappoints. We regularly go here for Sunday lunch - the Rib Eye roast is a highlight and the chicken is always...delicious. We will be back!More
Me and my family (6 of us) attended for my belated birthday meal on a Saturday evening. Having read the reviews prior, and seeing it was high up on the list of best restaurants in London we were extremely looking forward to our visit. Disappointing...is an understatement. Please note, when I booked the table on the phone, I was told we would need to PRE ORDER our food beforehand, otherwise we would have to wait a long time for it, so we pre ordered. Upon our arrival, we were offered drinks and our starter followed around 20 minutes after this. Great. Then it all started going wrong. We must’ve waited AT LEAST over an hour for our mains.. to the point where most of us weren’t even hungry anymore. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy, there were perhaps 6 other tables taken at best. They had young, trainee waiters in this evening learning which is fine and dandy. But when my sister in law asked one of them where our food was, he disappeared off into the kitchen, came back out 10 minutes later and just carried on working and walking around .. not coming back over to us with an update on our food. He clearly didn’t give a toss. Perhaps they need to be trained better. We asked another, more experienced, waiter again where our mains were.. he explained it’s all cooked fresh and can take a while bla bla bla, but over an hour to wait for our mains is ridiculous. Bare in mind my sister in law didn’t have a starter so she was starving. The waiter didn’t seem to care and just laughed it off. When the food eventually did come, it was average. I had the crab and lobster ravioli which looked like cat sick and probably tasted like it too. Lamb shank was average. Food was warm, not overly hot. Liver and beef fillet was nice enough. Wasn’t impressed really. Asked for the bill, and asked to take off the service charge as we weren’t happy to pay £27. The waiter didn’t look happy. My dad explained we shouldn’t have to wait over an hour for our mains so we don’t want to pay the service charge. The waiter replied with some condescending comment stating “well I don’t know what sort of restaurants you go to” and started laughing?? Clearly doesn’t like being told negative things about his food/restaurant. I will expect the owner to reply to this review with his excuses, as he has done with the previous reviews. A simple apology and perhaps a drink on the house would’ve made up for the long wait time. But because of the waiters attitudes, I’ve had to write this review instead. Much better Italian restaurants out there!More
Thank you for your feedback. I agree that the wait for your main courses was longer than our usual standard! Unfortunately, a large group scheduled to arrive much earlier arrived just before you. Further when the trainee waiter told us to go ahead with the...More
We visited Manuel's twice, going back as our first visit was excellent. I particularly liked their sea bass. I especially recommend the minestrone soup, very fresh, it was the best I have ever had.
The second time in a week. This time Sunday lunch with my mother in law. Simply the best artichokes for starter followed by a perfect lobster linguine. My second best meal of thr year. Outstanding!!! 10
This place is tremendous! The staff are just right. The authentic Italian food looks and tastes divine. It is great value for money and the portions are very generous . I will definitely be returning especially as I can't stop thinking about the artichokes!
Do not miss this place. It’s a bit of a ways to get there but worth it. Freshest food I’ve had probably ever and they make you feel like family! I only hope to be able to come back one day!!
Lovely restaurant, attentive, apologised for any delay. Portion sizes were generous and food lovely. Will definitely go again!
Food was fabulous. Fish soup, prawns in lemon sauce with chilli, mussels - all excellent. Mains - all very good, especially the skate wing.
