Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited for brunch and both had poached eggs on toast - blimming lush! Excellent double espressos too. The service was very good. Every meal we saw served looked superb. Sadly I forgot photos. We will definitely be back.

This was the perfect lunch spot! The wrap I ordered came with a sample of salads which were all incredible! The flavour of the wrap (chicken, pesto, mozzarella) was the very best. I was blown away by the freshness and flavour, and that was before...the coffee! Which was heavenly! Overall the service was excellent, the food was superb and I couldn’t be happier. Worth a stop for sure.More

We only just found out about this place , and now it is our favourite cafe! We love EVERYTHING about this place! Staffs are so friendly, attentive, and efficient .The food dishes we ordered, hot food, chicken dishes, Salmon Cheese Bagel, Salads, coffees - everything...we ordered here on both occasions were DELICIOUS, fresh homemade dishes. The portions were huge. Will bring more of our friends here to give them the business. Thank You to the owner, and staff for being amazing!More

I study right next to this cafe and it's certainly one of the highlights of my school day to come here for food. The staff are always very helpful and polite and the salads are delicious.

I really like this cafe and visit a lot but I was so disappointed to see the low level of COVID compliance today. Not a single staff member was wearing a mask and neither were several customers walking around inside. It felt really unsafe. I’ve...been before during the pandemic and it was fine so don’t know what’s happening today. Won’t go back.More

I have been to this cafe quite a few times, as it is local to my mum and to my workplace, and so good for a catch up with my mum. I have had some good experiences and had a couple of good salads. The...customer service in here, however, especially from the waiting staff is terrible. So much so, that I certainly wont be returning this time. We had an incident a year or so ago where my mum ordered a sandwich which was served to her toasted. When she said that isn't what she wanted, the lady serving was really rude insisting that my mum should have known it would be toasted as "they always are". We pointed out that it isn't stated on the menu and why would chicken and avocado be toasted? We got a rude, confrontational response in which the waitress insisted we were the ones that had the order wrong and she would be adding to the order if she changed it. We were really shocked and looking back, we never should have gone in there again, but the manager, a gentlemen was very nice, and later apologetic, so we gave it another go. Today we visited, and my mum ordered two teas, one toast with egg on top and one toast with tomato twice for the both of us. This wasn't understood by the waitress who came back with one on the orders plus extra toast, when my mum explained this, she went and returned with the order. The eggs were overcooked, although I usually wouldn't mention this, the toast with tomato literally had a slice of tomato on it, an actual thin slice (We think they just took from the first plate they had done which had 2 slices). We didn't say anything but I was still hungry, so then ordered a plain croissant. They proceeded to charge us £16.00 for this order, when asked for a breakdown they couldn't supply it, came around the counter to shove a menu in my face and show me that she should charge at least £4.50 each for the meals as 2 poached eggs on toast is £4.50 (we had one fried), how can that be right, we had one egg each plus 2 slices of tomato between us, and how much were the teas? So rude and so confrontational. My mum is nearly 80 years old, I just can't believe it. Shocking. I asked to speak to the manager, she said he wasn't available till the next day. Turns out he was cooking. We will never visit again.More

Absolutely disgusting service! I came in with my disabled mother in a wheelchair and because she shouted a little bit the first thing the waitress said to me was 'is she going to be aggressive?' to which I said 'no' my mother then began to...shout a little bit again so then she said she can't stay in here so we had to leave. I explained to her that that was discrimination and my mother cannot help it as she suffers from a brain injury and I would report them to the local council. To which she replied she had to think of the other customers. I understand she had to think of her customers but there was no tactfulness, sympathy or sensitivity about the way in which she spoke to me and no attempt in apoligising.More

I always visit if I am in London and fancy a nice cafe breakfast. The coffee is lovely, the bacon is cooked well and the sausages are really tasty. I have always found the staff really helpful.

I was working in London and visiting various locations over the period of a week. As I was moving about i couldn't really plan for lunch. So I chose a different location every day, wherever I was. I saw this place and right away the...food on display caught my eye. I had a vegetarian wrap, which was toasted and it was superb. It hag beautifully cooked vegetables and goats cheese. The salad that came with it was delicious. It was very reasonably priced and there was so much of it, i had a snack for my dinner. The coffee to accompany it was nice and strong, which was just what was required. They had a good selection of cakes, but couldn't manage one. If i'm back in the area, i'll be visiting this place again.More
