Stopped in for brunch after a wedding the day before. The menu hs a great range to offer and all sounded good. When the food arrived it smelt and tasted amazing. We would both highly recommend.

Went to Hob for hearty breakfast to hold us for a day of sightseeing. They did not disappoint. Located in an easy to find place on one of the principle streets in Balham in grester London. We ordered the English Breakfast and salmon eggs benedict....Very healthy portion and VERY good. Host was very pleasant and welcoming.More

Tasty and pleasant experience at HOB. Good selection and all fresh. Quite a wait on food at weekends given they also try to keep online orders going whilst the restaurant is at capacity. Should ideally pause deliveries when restaurant is very busy.

Whilst the food was lovely and the staff friendly it does take a very long time for food to arrive, we waited over an hour for two breakfasts. A major concern was how dirty the toilet was, really very bad, doesn’t fill me with confidence...in the cleanliness of the rest of the place.More

One of my favourite places in Balham to get some good food, either to sit and have lunch or take it home in a busy day. They have this yami meals were you can choose and make your own box, wraps whatever u can think...of. Is always fresh and delicious! Is not expensive and I think is great value for moneyMore

The cutlery holder was caked in old ketchup and the serviettes placed inside with the cutlery had old food on them too. Most of the food tasted good although some tasted pre packaged supermarket bought (pancakes) and not freshly made. There is no ventilation in...the one room cafe and it got very stuffy to the point of uncomfortable. Not worth the money - one dish was £15 for a breakfast. Give me a break. Would not recommend.More

I can not knock the food or atmosphere at HOB, I’ve been several times. Unfortunately I was hopeful that the loooongggg wait times were just circumstantial however I was wrong. It is such a shame because this is a lovely little place however waiting nearly...an hour for avocado toast is just simply ridiculous! Please HOB get another support chef!More

We called in for brunch for the first time here and was so impressed. The food is amazing with a huge range of dishes on the menu and the staff are all super friendly and attentive, despite it being so busy when we were there....We were also really impressed with the portion sizes, we ordered wraps which came with a huge Moroccan salad (also amazing) and hummus which was pretty much a meal in itself. We will 100% be back!More

Really great, fresh food with really generous portion sizes (would recommend the falafel wrap!). The service was amazing too, and can tell the staff really care about their service and customers

Went here with friends as a group of 6, staff were friendly, kind and helpful. Atmosphere was nice and the food was gorgeous, to eat and look at, almost to pretty to eat.

This is a wonderful little cafe on the high street of Balham. My husband had a traditional breakfast which was just what he needed after travelling. My daughter and I had the vegan breakfast which I must say is the best breakfast either of us...has ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection, the wilted spinach was just right still slightly crispy. The beans were wonderful with a Turkish twist. The freshly squeezed orange juice was cold and refreshing. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely place.More

HOB is such a gem in Balham. We started visiting HOB for coffee and cocktails during lockdown, and we also ordered brunch via delivery several times which never disappointed. We recently had the chance to dine in for brunch a few weeks ago and the...service was wonderful and the food unmatched. By far my favorite breakfast spot in Balham. We are sad to hear that HOB will be closed for two weeks during Lockdown 2, but we can't wait to go back as soon as they open!More
