Have visited many restaurants in Chinatown but this is 1 of the best. We had the seafood set menu and it was fantastic. Seafood cocktail with lettuce leaf. Lobster. scallops with beautiful vegetables, sweet and sour fish and squid with chilli. Prawn rice. Couldn't fault it. Service excellent although a little quick. Thanks to Kerry for serving us so well.... More

Went here tonight at the end of a day out in London and was disappointed as my friends and I were barely acknowledged by the waiting staff. Firstly a minimum £10 per person was slapped all over the menus which isn't particularly welcoming. One of my friends was brought the wrong dish and was challenged by the waitress with no... More

There was a table with 6 old chinese men (wearing flat caos!) sitting round eating huge amounts of food and dim sum, chatting. Lovely atmosphere. We had roast duck, roast crispy belly pork, pork char sui, prwan cripsy pancakes, and deep fried squid. The roast duck, and both porks were very good. It is best to have them served on... More

We ate as a family. Crispy seaweed, duck with pancakes, spring rolls, veg with ginger. The food was tasty, but a bit unpredictable coming; we had to chase up our main course and think they'd probably forgotten about it, and the same was true of the jug of tap water. The waiter just plonked the dishes on the table without... More

We ate here to celebrate an old friend birthday. This restaurant was chosen as they were the only one that would take a booking for 10 people at relatively short notice. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to see a high number of Chinese people here, which in my book is always a good sign if local people are enjoying... More

We went here on Friday night as my Birthday treat. It is only occasionally I get to London and to go to Chinatown is a great occasion for me. First I have to say that the food was almost excellent.. Sadly, the beef in my meal was totally unchewable. I have a good set of jaws, but they were no... More

Went here last night whilst wandering around Chinatown. Everywhere was busy so joined the queue and waited approx 15 mins for a table. This gave us good opportunity to see the chef preparing food at the front of the restaurant and only made us more hungry! Food was very good. We opted for a set menu which included crispy Duck,... In the middle of a tourist area, this restaurant is quiet, friendly and genuine. Prices are very reasonable, and the P1 meal for two at 17.50 per person is of very good quality and wildly generous; very aried and almost impossible to finish it all. Recommended in the area.

As we had such a good meal on our last visit we went back for a £15 set menu which on this occasion we were a little disappointed with a couple of the dishes, although the Beaujolais wine was a reasonable price and decent flavour. The staff were friendly and polite. I think they should also increase the number of... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
