Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After a lengthy walk - Oxford Street, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square (plus several shops along the way) we were looking for a cup of tea, and a cake of sorts. And we came face to face with Fernando's Cafe and entered therein. Proper mugs of strong tea and two Portuguese egg custard tart (Pastéis de Nata) suitably revived us. Excellent! The cafe might be small and seating 'cosy' but the menu is broad, and what we saw being served to other customers made our mouths water. The ladies in charge were on the ball and very pleasant indeed. Fernando's cafe will certainly be revisited when an opportunity arises. Thank you so much

A small cafe just off Covent Garden , food was fresh well presented and tasty and for central London excellent value . Mainly take away but a few tables inside a bit squashed but clean . Found by accident was on way to Real Greek next door . Wife had a simple salad I had the lasagne ....with two drinks and teas about £20. Will be going again ...seems to have a lot of regulars .

Tiny little restaurant with 4 tables, simple breakfast, yummy, and shockingly cheap. We arrived to London super early and this place was one of few open. Run by a husband and wife from Portugal. Super friendly. Felt very welcomed, like we were eating at their home.

Probably my favorite breakfast we had while walking around London. Had a day planned to spend in SoHo and Covent Garden and started it at Fernando’s. Incredibly friendly staff and a very comprehensive menu.
We came for breakfast, but their lunch and takeaway looked great as well. Very quick service. This is a must stop for a fry up.

I am a London taxi driver. If you want the best take away sandwich in London, this is the place to go. There are a few tables inside too. Fab food and lots of it

We were staying nearby and had been looking on trip adviser for a good breakfast place when we found Fernando’s by accident! It was tremendous value for money, super quality and the service was great! A special mention for the wonderful toast - proper bread, thick cut, buttered and served hot - just like toast should be! If you are staying near Covent Garden or just visiting the area I would highly recommend you visit! We just wish we’d found it earlier!

It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food is great and the staff are friendly and happy to help. We had a cooked breakfast which outdid my expectations! Accompanied with a proper cup of tea. A hidden gem! I look forward to my next visit.

This tiny cafe is located a short distance from Covent Garden and does the usual breakfast dishes plus jacket potatoes, hot and cold sandwiches and also various homemade pasta dishes as well as salads. Prices are very good and the quality of my escalope melt panini was excellent. A real find for anyone looking for lunch or breakfast near here.
