Reading some of the reviews I wondered if I had eaten in a different place. Food is fantastic. Great prices. Staff can be a big off and brusk but the food is excellent value and very good value for money.

I’ve had their fish & chips a couple of times and it’s nothing special. Today it was actually not tasteful and had to throw it away after a couple of bites. It was a waste of money as they’re not cheap.

The chips are cut too large and not well cooked! The fish has no taste at all! At way Overpriced at £9.99- certainly won't be going there again and don't reccomend it.

I have read all the reviews and can not understand why people complain the prices go up! They need to stay afloat so they need to raise their prices! Customer service is excellent, always bubbly and friendly, complimentary sauces which is rare from a chip...shop! How can you go wrong with £1.80 meal? I mean seriously! Much better then the other dirty chicken shops in the area! Go there and try it yourself!More

their best meals are fish and chips, they do serve fried chicken, sausages and pies as well. they are a bit tight on the tomato sauce only giving one sachet with each meal.

Fish didn't taste that fresh and have had better, chips was ok, could have been cooked a bit more. I ate the food but prob wouldn't eat there again

The fish was OK, but certainly nothing great. The chips were also OK but I wouldn't say they were proper chip shop chips and tasted more like oven chips. The spicy mushroom was very spicy but not crispy but the breadcrumbs were mushy which was...a bit off putting. I wouldn't go out of my way to get food from here again. Average at best A shame there are no good fish shops in the whole areaMore

I've been going to this chippy since the age of 10. Always loved the chicken and cod. Best classic chip shop around this area. Fast service and quality food. Also clean eat-in area. I know this shop as Crispy Cod, and still call it that....Plenty of good memories there. Recommended to anyone! And big up my man Yunus! (Chief cashier and supervisor)More

Tasty chips, fresh fish with not too heavy batter, good mushy peas - and all at a reasonable price. Definitely a thumbs up from me :)
