Location and contact

The Bull & The Hide is the second in The Cunning Plan Pub Company's chain of bars, restaurants and hotels in Central London. The Bull is the ultimate City pub. Seconds away from Liverpool Street Station, on the pedestrianised Devonshire Row linking Bishopsgate to Devonshire Square. The ground floor pub is bustling with drinkers every weekday lunch time and evening; we serve daily lunch specials from 12-6pm; expect home-made sausage rolls or our famous salt beef sandwich. The bar serves a large selection of craft beers, ales and ciders, highlighting a brewery of the week. Hidden away upstairs is The Hide at The Bull, an intimate 36 seat dining room and bar, offering a more refined lunch and dinner

Meeting with G Man and the Pirate from Shoreditch Radio, Ministry, XOYO etc. Long lunch of small dishes, craft ale and chilled Sauv Blanc, great location being right by Liverpool Street Station but not commandeered by boring accountants in stuffed suits. We opted to try...More

Shocking rude service. Terrible bar staff. Much better pubs locally. Don’t go there. If you employ staff you need to understand the level of service they will provide. Lost income lost profit and a scathing review

I loved the energy and vibe in this pub and it has a terrific selection of drink options. Glad I stumbled across it on my solitary evening walk out due to a work overnight stay in London. Tribute at £5 a pint still seems steep...More

Stayed here to attend a family wedding, clean rooms & good service at a reasonable price considering the location in the heart of the city. Highly recommended. Stairs access to the rooms only so may not be suitable if walking is an issue.

Stayed here two nights for business. The proximity to the Liverpool station made this place really convenient. For being on top of pub, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful in the room. The only issue I had was the standing shower didn’t drain all that...More

Went just before last orders on a Sunday evening. Not made very welcome and the cider I was served probably one of the worst I have tasted. Very watery and flat.

Very disappointed with service at the bar. Had been enjoying a drink with friends at what is a very nice venue. At approx 10:50pm they flickered the lights for what we assumed was last orders, but on visiting the bar we're told that they'd already...More
