Since this place is closed on weekends and I don't live/work in the Holborn area, I only managed to eat there recently on one of my days off work. I'm so glad I tried it!! If you are craving for authentic Malay food, this is the place to go! I had the nasi lemak with a serving of beef rendang.... More

You should not miss the melt in the mouth beef rendang. The best Nasi Lemak I have had in this country. Well priced and decent portion.

The food choices were satisfying. The taste are great as well. Doesn't taste as good as other Malaysian restaurants in London. Although a bit pricey, but it's worth it.

Dapur means kitchen in Malay language. I have been talking to my colleagues about Dapur for sometime before we finally went there last week - finally walk the talk! Please note that Dapur is open Monday to Friday from 11:30am to 3:00pm. It took us about 15 minutes to walk to Dapur from Holborn. Along the way we passed many... More

I've been visiting Dapur for several months as, luckily, I work in the neighbourhood. The food is always outstanding and delicious. It's so nice to have that healthy, tasty, home-cooked style halal food available and at reasonable prices. There's always a good variety of dishes, the service is great and they've made good use of the space with neat, modern... More

Dapur is a small cosy cafe located in a small alley off busy Holborn. There is a good selection of well cooked Malaysian dishes. Nasi lemak is always available, with the beef rendang being tender and tasty. A good place to try well cooked Malay dishes if you are around the Holborn area.

On entering this narrow establishment, with one long, shared table and benches for seating, you could be forgiven for having second thoughts, that is till you reach the counter. The colourful rices, delicious aubergines and steamed fresh vegetables soon changes your mind! There are several choices for meat eaters. you choose what you want, its all put neatly into a... More

Food is exactly the same as back home with reasonable pricing. Bad reviews of this place come from people not thinking with their heads and expecting restaurant service at a cheap and affordable cafeteria.

This is little restaurant in Holborn which serves excellent Malaysian food. I had Nasi Lemak with two side dishes and it tasted amazing. This is a must-go for Malaysia-lovers!
