We always visit this place, because...why pay for a hotel breakfast near overpriced Tower Hill when this great little cafe is 5 minutes walk away? Excellent, sizeable breakfasts with tea and coffee thrown in for great prices. Even waitress service to the tables. What's not to like!

Well what a find right opposite Aldgate station, The best sausage and bacon roll ever, food freshly cooked - if I wasn't so full up I would have stayed for lunch the salads looked lush £4 for sausage and bacon roll and a mug of tea - can't beat that lovely place

The price is a bit lower than average. The service is very good. I had the full english breakfast with tea (milk) and loved it. Worth trying.

Having ordered a bacon and Egg Roll for my girlfriend and a Sausage and Bacon for myself I had specified "Just Butter" very clearly on my order and the waitress had acknowledged, however upon leaving the shop I found my Roll was covered in Ketchup. No Problem I thought as I returned and explained there mistake. The Waitress wasn't interested... More

Having a usual of egg and sausage in a brown bap from cafes around London for breakfast. Price £3.75 - this appears to be average price for same product compared to other places. Taste - well cooked, and tasty sausages from here. Brown sauce of course :) Cleanliness - nice clean cafe, always busy when I go past. I did... More

Unfortunately I tend to gravitate towards chain outlets for breakfast most mornings so had forgotten just how pleasant a traditional cafe can be. First rate coffee and scrambled eggs. Friendly service. Great prices. What more could you ask for!

We ate here 3 times during our visit to London. The breakfast on all 3 occasions was exceptional. The staff are so friendly and the food is very good value but very good quality food.

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
