Busy little cafe offering a full English + tea/coffee for £7.75 which is great value. However, in comparison to other cafes outside London we go to regularly, it is very average fare. Cumberland sausage is advertised, but I have never seen one like that. Tasted...More

Opposite Aldgate tube station this café is great for an English breakfast or try the omelettes. When I go to London I stay very near to this cafe. Before my first visit I did my research on Trip Advisor for this area and this cafe...More

The best “proper” all day breakfast cafe. Fast, friendly, big servings, and a fraction of the price any hotel is charging. Get there before 10am to be sure of a table. The £6.95 Breakfast Bap even defeated my 16 year old son.

This is the way to do it (see the separate review of VQ Bloomsbury)! Friendly, efficient service, fantastic food (largest portion of beans on toast you're ever likely to see!) and very reasonably priced considering the location. Thoroughly recommended.

Now I’ve finished commuting to St Katharine’s Dock I can reveal my favourite breakfast cafe. Friendly staff, quick service and a good breakfast.

Not a bad allday breakfast but a little expensive at £7 No mushrooms or plumb tomatoes or black pudding but a portion of fries on the plate seemed a little weird and out of place

Thanks to the team who made on two mornings my day by the great service and excellent breakfast. Coffee is good as well. Sandwiches to go as well to recommend.

Visited with 5 colleagues and were not disappointed. We had an early meeting and after trying a couple of places nearby that didn’t open until after 7.00 am. The dark haired waitress took all our orders without pen or paper and the food was delivered...More

Informal dining, small cafe but tasty salads and sandwiches served with a smile by a pleasant staff.

I don’t remember using one, but I’ve never seen a cafe of any size not have a bathroom especially in London.
