I stumbled across this place three years ago when visiting selfridges. Myself and a friend had a quick visit to selfridges today and I managed to remember where lazeez was. We fancied a light lunch. Great service and lovely food. I opted for Beirut hummus...and a flatbread with halloumi. Delicious. My friend had the lazeez hummus and falafels. She also thoroughly enjoyed her food.More

i’m shocked to see the reviews stating that the manager was rude or the customer service was poor as i felt the staff were lovely and friendly. The manager ( we were told he was the “boss “/owner so not sure if it’s the same...person as others were commenting on ) was absolutely lovely. He allowed us to sit outside despite the fact we weren’t having shisha and the outside area is lovely. The staff were super friendly although once we had ordered our food and received it we never got asked if we wanted anything else and were not offered coffee or desserts but the friendliness of our waitress made up for the 13.5% service charge. The food was so so and was average . Don’t get me wrong It wasn’t bad at all and was tasty but definitely not the best Lebanese food especially for the price but hey you are in a prime location. However the ambience , location and outdoor setting was lovely . The staff are super accommodating and if that was the manager we met ( we were told he was the owner) he is certainly not rude!More

Had such a lovely visit to Lazeez the other night! Our server Lauren was absolutely amazing, she went through the whole menu with us and gave such good recommendations. Our drinks were lovely as was the food! We also ordered shisha, the shisha waiter was...equally as good, checking that the shisha was nice and regularly changing the coal for us. We loved it here but it’s definitely the amazing service from Lauren and Ahmed that will bring us back! I rarely leave reviews but I couldn’t not with such great service, 5 stars and a pay rise for them!More

I’m shocked at how bad the service was, absolutely horrible and stale food and let’s not even talk about the portion size. Staff we’re even worse just constantly looked at me and my partner which made us feel so uncomfortable eating. We were offered no...bread, salad or sauces. Save you’re money people. Worst place I’ve ever eaten at ! Service charge ?? For what the service is disgusting!More

The mezze here are as good as any outside the Middle East, with particularly good hummus and kibbeh. Special mention for the knaffeh which reminded me of some we had in Amman. Friendly and attentive staff. Inside there is some quite intrusive music but outside...the tables are quiet.More

Lovely team, and amazing atmosphere! Was lovely sitting in the terrace area, and the service was nice and friendly. Prices are to be expected in Central - but they did have a great Lunch Deal going on. Would definitely visit again. Thanks Team, for making...this a memorable visit!More

We came out with a couple of friends to have drinks / dinner last weekend. I’d have to say this venue is thriving! Located in the heart of central London, they offer delicious Lebanese food and the cocktails were amazingly good! The waiting staff is...really nice and helpful, we had a great talk / laugh with the manager. If you’re visiting Oxford st make sure you go to Lazeez 👌More

This restaurant is completely overpriced and poor quality. £8 for truffle fries and they look like frozen chips from Iceland. You can barely taste the truffle. I will never be going back here. Tourist trap in the centre of London.

The food was nice as were all the wait staff. The owner/manager however was unbelievably rude. We raised an issue with the booking process and the time allocated for the dinner reservation. Instead of acknowledging the issue and apologising, he was aggressive and said ‘I...don’t apologise, I’m French’, that we could leave if we wanted to and he didn’t care. He kept interrupting me as I tried to speak. Absolutely appalling behaviour! If it wasn’t for lockdown restrictions and limited availability of bookings, we’d have left. We decided to stay and try to put the unpleasantness behind us. Thankfully the rest of the staff were polite and friendly, and the owner/manager left us alone. But we certainly won’t be spending any £££ here again. Suggest you don’t either.More

We were very sorry to read about your experience when you visited us recently and are not sure who it is you are referring to, as it most certainly seems completely out of character with any of our staff. We have though passed your comments...More
