Strange location but a super atmosphere particularly on the evenings. Food is excellent, a lack of city type pinstriped puppets makes it better and it's a bit quirky. Always booked at lunch despite other better looking places ! Bout I would guess Cameron Diaz gets asked out more than Miss Universe if u know what I mean .

Came here for a drink to meet friends and watch football and this pub does well on both counts. There is a large outside area which is covered and an interesting mix of customers, with plenty of screens.

Came here purely because I saw it as The Railway Arms in the final episode of Ashes to Ashes! It's a short walk from London Bridge station and is quite easy to find! The drinks are average price for London but the service was not the best, the barman gave the impression that serving us was an inconvenience! Inside it's... More

This place is just around the corner from my office and I have been many times. I booked two of our bigger team Christmas parties here this year and they were a big success. We booked and a table for four and had the three course Christmas menu, it was super tasty and came out quickly. All in all we... More

Great food, Great service. Prices are reasonable but not cheap. But best of all, it is tucked away off the back streets behind London Bridge Station. Take the time to find it and enjoy...

Spent last Saturday in the Horseshoe Inn. It has a lovely atmosphere, a nice range of drinks and very friendly staff. They couldn't have been more helpful or friendly in making sure the food was suitable for me (I'm a vegan) and the food they served was delicious. Definitely recommend this pub, and as a stone's throw from the Shard/London... More

Really disappointed after being given the task of finding somewhere nice to eat for a friends birthday.. Staff unhelpful and unprofessional. When we arrived was told yes your out side turn left in garden . We should of been taken to our tables given menus and explained the situation with ordering etc. After sitting for 10 mins in garden had... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
