Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Restaurant was busy when we got there but they got us a table right away The food was excellent and the help was fantastic. Daughter showed up later on during our meal and they were able to fit us in at out table by bringing...out another chair. Been there before and always greatMore

Decent pizza but could do with more air in the dough and being cooked at a higher temperature. Doesn't compare to Crust Bros. in Waterloo.

Food was excellent. We went for the lamb and rosemary mash and the T-bone steak with grilled veg. Service was friendly and swift. This wasn’t a planned visit but we will definitely be returning

Grabbed a quick bite to eat whilst working in London as the restaurant wasn't far from my hotel. I'd previously walked past the restaurant when I had visited the Pixxa Express next door. I wasn't impressed with Pizza Express on my last visit so decided...to try here for my dinner. The retaurant is small and quaint but cosy. I was seated quickly and my order taken quickly. I had a tomato based pasta dish which was hot, tasty a good portion and reasonably priced. Service was quick and efficient despite there being a few tables in. Would recommend and will return.More

This is a friendly restaurant with a good range on the menu. However, judging on the food on this visit, the chef was not quite up to scratch. The pizzas were just too salty and underdone. It’s hard to complain when you’re in a group.

We returned here for pizza having enjoyed the food, including fish dishes, several times in the past. It didn’t disappoint. Service was good and attentive. Pizzas were nice. Prices reasonable. No problem getting a box for a couple of slices to go. It’s a bit...of a go to for us in Victoria. We’ll be back!More

Recently I had dinner with my wife and some friends at the Colosseo restaurant in London. We all had different dishes, and everyone raved about how good they were. The proportions were large, and the price was very reasonable. The staff were extremely attentive and...very personable. Great dinner!More

The place is grand! I had Linguine a la Pescatora and, albeit I try to stay skinny, I ate every bit of it. It was delicious, delightful, and elating. The service was also perfect, respectful, friendly. Usually, I Don order dessert, bit in this case...I ordered Profiteroles Bianco, and I did not regret. I am staying in London for two more days, and tomorrow I am planning to take my friends to this wonderful place.More

Three of us ordered. Gnocchi, Lunguini & Sausage, and Lasagna. Hands down probably best meal I've had at an Italian restraunt. Don't miss a chance to try it out ... you will not regret it.

Probably one of the worst meals of the past few years. The garlic bread with mozzarella seemed stale and it was completely white and unbrowned on the underside. The cheese on top was not browned at all and just look really unappetising and anaemic. Very...stodgy and bland and would have been very easy to do better at home. The spaghetti with courgette and prawn didn’t taste horrible- it just tasted of nothing at all. No real seasoning and there was huge garlic cloves (probably half a clove) which was just scattered in the dish which almost looked raw. Lasagne was just about ok. Service was kind of strange. When we asked to order after about sitting for 10 mins with the menu the waitress just said “oh we are busy” - not sure you should really say that to customers but generally they were quite smily. It seemed like they just pulled someone off the street to make our food so not sure if just an off night or maybe the head chef was ill.More

Excellent food and service. Great variety of food selections. We stopped in here just looking for a quick lunch. This has been the best meal we have had while in London. Put this on your list of places to eat.

I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. Whenever we take our elderly wheelchair-bound friend there for lunch, the staff couldn’t be kinder or more accommodating. Yesterday was her 82nd birthday and they made such a fuss of her, my other friend and I were in...tears at their sensitivity and compassion. They are always so understanding of her needs, always putting out a ramp at the door for ease and reserving us an easy-to-navigate table. They greet us like old friends even though we can only visit three or four times a year. The food is always exceptional - yesterday we had the salmon in a herby crust with spinach which was worth every penny of its great value price, every mouthful was divine. When we ordered their delicious home-made tiramisu, all the staff brought it to the table with a candle for our friend, and they got the whole restaurant singing happy birthday to her. I can’t tell you how they helped make her day; she was treated like a queen, with such warmth and respect - but they treat all their customers to the same excellent level of service. Everyone is greeted with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. We wouldn’t choose to go anywhere else - Colosseo has it all; great food, great wine, great value for money, great ambience and great service! Thank you again, Michela, Adriana and Denis, for making an elderly lady’s birthday so special.More

I absolutely loved the food at Colosseo; really well made bruschetta, seafood spaghetti and a generous portion, too. The waitress was very kind despite us coming in very late after a long day at work. Highly recommended.

I’ve never felt more obligated to leave a review in my life. To start the calamari was clearly frozen and was very rubbery. The ribeye was the worst steak I have ever eaten. It was extremely tough and bland. It had absolutely no seasoning on...it and tasted like charcoal. The pizza was runny and looked abysmal. The pasta was undercooked and like most things tasted very bland. The only thing that was somewhat edible was the fried chicken. Other than that nothing seemed fresh and was just flat out disgusting. How this place has a 4.0 rating and so many good reviews is beyond me.More
