This little Italian could easily be overlooked as you pass through the busy area. But please - stop, look and try. Excellent food, swift service (needed when you have theatre tickets) and very reasonable for central London.

We had a party of 12 and booked early as we were going to the theatre. You wouldn't necessarily just walk in if you passed it by because it doesn't draw you in from the outside but it pleasant enough inside and has a large...More

We always come here when we visit London and have never been disappointed. The food is lovely and it's an obviously family run establishment which is a rare find in central London. Literally opposite Leicester Square tube it doesn't charge London prices either (£65 for...More

Good selection on the menu and reasonable prices for a central London restaurant. The venue is cosy and welcoming. Four different meals for four guests and all enjoyed their choice.

Description
In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester Square is Piazza, a very Italian restaurant in a very British location. A family run eatery for seventeen years, Piazza is renowned for a welcome which will transport visitors from the impersonal, crowded West End to a tiny Italian village. Traditional in every sense, from the green awning over the glass frontage to the simple white walls and dark wood furniture of the rustic interior, Piazza gives a sense of comfort even before the food arrives. On the menu, you'll find everything from authentic bruschetta, to great seafood, to deliciously fresh pizzas, and the most popular pasta dishes too. Surprisingly affordable, Piazza makes a wonderful pre-theatre stop-off, or, thanks to incredible lunch offers, a fantastic place to take a break between shopping and sightseeing.
