About
Across the street from the famous gentlemen's club with which it shares its name, Le Garrick is a convivial and well-established restaurant and bar with a classic menu of French cuisine, having recently celebrated its 36th anniversary. Spread over two floors, the ground floor dining room offers a window view of the bustle of Covent Garden outside, while the intimate basement with its candlelit alcoves fosters a more discreet atmosphere. It's often regarded as one of London's most romantic venues, having seen many proposals over the years! A lively crowd of playgoers and theatre faces soak up the buzzy vibe.

It's what one would describe as an intimate venue, not a huge amount of space. My partner had the pre theatre menu and her only issue was the slightly crunchy mussels, they hadn't been properly washed so had residue grit when cooked. My meal was...nice Toilets down a spiral staircase very small too.More

Group of friends celebrated Beaujolais Nouveau day this year at Le Garrick. Superb food and wine all very reasonably priced. The cheeseboard in particular was excellent. Had a booking turned up early and sadly 50% of the booking could not attend; yet the friendly accommodated the change and found me a table. No debate - the best restuarant in Covent Garden. Don’t miss the snails for starters and get the extra bread for the sauce. !!

Positive surprise must say. Not a big fan of eating in the Covent Garden area, simply because most of places are overpriced and for tourists, but must confess that was so impressed with Le Garrick !!!! Very friendly staff, great setting, tasty food, excellent service....Hosted some friends for dinner and everyone was really happy with the experience. Was my first time here and I'm sure not my last. Will definitely returnMore

A welcoming restaurant with authentic French decor. I had the good value pre theatre menu. It included an incredibly juicy steak and very nourish chocolate pot. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Overall a great dining experience.

Had a wonderful experience here with close friends. Came here as a 40th birthday treat after going to the theatre and both food and service were secong to none. We were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to our table. The manager Nicholas couldnt...have been more attentive. So charming. Funny and made me feel very special. I even got a happy birthday treat with a candle and a song by the staff. Food was delicious! Woukd recommend the mussels or steak frites. I will definately be back for another visit. Thank you so much to nicholas and his fab team 😊More

I took my ten year old grandson to London for a couple of days and I wanted to treat him to his favourite meal of steak frites. I have to follow a vegan and gluten free diet for medical reasons so it’s not easy to...find somewhere that accommodates both of us. The Garrick however was perfect. They have a Vegan Dish of the Day, plus an excellent steak with French fries. The food was superb and my grandson said that this has got to be our special place to eat in London from now on. The service was friendly and welcoming.More
