We were looking for an early dinner before seeing The Mouse Trap and we stumbled onto this: A perfect little French restaurant in the heart of London. It has just a few tables upstairs and twice as many downstairs and it was perfectly warm and...More

One of my favourite french restaurants in London - good food, excellent wine and attentive but not intrusive service. Not too pricey either (for what you get) which is a plus!

We've been to Le Garrick again, and it's time for another review because people only read the up-to-date reviews so I re-review regularly. We would never eat anywhere else in the Covent Garden area. The food is great (and amazing value), the atmosphere is good...More

I’m giving Le Garrick 2/5. One solid point for the lovely, helpful service we received and one for the delicious onion soup for our starter. Other than that the food was a disappointment. The pate starter was flavourless, dry and crumbly. The steak was tough...More

In fact, we visited Le Garrick twice: first, after a very disappointing dinner at Tom's Kitchen (Canary Wharf) we ended the long day sharing a chocolate pot and a pichet of Sancerre (not the best we've tasted, but did the trick); and on our last...More

Lovely relaxed friendly bistro type restaurant. Unpretentious - just what I wanted. Pate then steak - nothing left on the plates. I m tempted to sign off with some o level French but non!

Across the street from the famous gentlemen's club with which it shares its name, Le Garrick is a convivial and well-established restaurant and bar with a classic menu of French cuisine, having just celebrated its 30th anniversary. Spread over two floors, the ground floor dining room offers a window view of the bustle of Covent Garden outside, while the intimate basement with its candlelit alcoves fosters a more discreet atmosphere. It's often regarded as one of London's most romantic venues, having had 3 proposals already this year! A lively crowd of playgoers and theatre faces soak up the buzzy vibe.
