The entrance is over a small bridge atop a koi pond, and you’re immediately transported into a much more serene world than the brightly lit and pressured environment of other restaurants in Chinatown. The service is fast and efficient, but doesn’t feel pressured, everyone seems...More

The food here is really superb. We had Beijing duck, steamed seabass with ginger, spicy prawns, Cantonese style pork and some vegetable with garlic. The service was ok but not memorable.

The restaurant is very big and nicely decorated. We stayed in a private room for a karaoke dinner. Food was nice and a lot, wine was also good. Not a low level Chinese restaurant.

This is the second time that we have been to the Imperial China. I must say the staff could do with a bit of Customer Service improvement, the food was absolutely delicious and fair priced. I will definitely go back.

They have a few items on the menu, among others based upon tofu. It is worth asking if the chef has more items up his sleeve.
