We enjoyed a good fixed price lunch at the Avenue. The food was well presented and tasty but not imaginative. Deserts poor choice and my cheesecake rather like a sad over sweet mousse and cheese had a 5.50 supplement.

When you spend nearly £90 a head on a two course meal without fancy wines or pre dinner drinks, it should be good. But something was amiss at the normally very reliable Avenue Restaurant. My first course salmon dish was so stupidly small we all...More

St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier
destination for high end craft and bespoke design.
Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which
indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the
establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during
a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s
Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing

Avenue restaurant & bar brings a shot of Manhattan-inspired glamour to St James. Serving up New American cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday, the restaurant captures the buzz of the New York dining scene with stunning art-focused interiors by Russell Sage and an exciting French & American-driven wine list. Avenue's bar is a destination in its own right for pre-dinner or after-work drinks, with an array of bar snacks to choose from alongside vintage bourbons, Prohibition-era cocktails and craft beers. We will be extending our weekend brunch to Sunday's from the 12th April 2015.
