Wonderful place, food unique and excellent. Diverse range of very creative drinks and cocktails to choose from
We're so thrilled to hear this! Thank you so much for taking the time to review!
Absolutely sensational. I'm pescetarian and I had the Swordfish tikka (moist, delicately cooked, gently spiced, dry marinaded in lovely yoghurt and saffron), followed by the vegetarian "keema" dosa which was made with fire cooked broad beans...I mean. It was insanely good. Lovely sour dosa batter,...lightly crisp and just the right soft graininess in the batter. The filling was a homemade keema mince alternative with gunpowder dry masala potatoes and the broad beans with butter and mustard seeds. First time ever going here and cannot wait to return. Outstanding. Wish I'd had room for pud... but... Next time...More

We have been regular guests at Babur for many years, the food has always been of the highest quality (they have just won Indian Fine Dining Restaurant of the year) - what is particularly notable is the way that the menu changes both seasonally and...to celebrate particular cuisines. And the advice the receive on wine choices, linked to different dishes, is very sound. Their cocktails, including their Curritini, are astounding.More

Chicken biryani is really good. Host has been excellent and they really pay attention. Great goat shoulders as starters

Super friendly service and very nicely presented food full of flavour. I also loved my kafir lime leaf margarita.
We're so glad you had a wonderful time and enjoyed the cocktails! We hope to see you again soon!
Best Indian in the Forest Hill area. Highly recommend the paneer starter. Staff were also great with nut allergy.

I came here on a Thursday night with a friend that had visited previously and raved about the place. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome. The service was attentive, warm and friendly. And the food! Fresh, inviting and absolutely...delicious. We both had the scallops to start - sweet and perfectly cooked. Mains were generous - layer upon layer of flavour and beautifully presented. So glad to have discovered this gem. Will be back to try the tasting menu soon!More

Been here multiple times. Best Indian in town, hence the Micheline approval! I recommend the set menu!
The best Margharita! Delicious Food - the butter masala was outstanding. Great attentive service too.
Really delicious food and great service. The cocktails bang and the swordfish was incredible. Great local spot.
Came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Food and service were exceptional. Jay took excellent care of us, and the seasonal cocktails were perfectly pitched. Would highly recommend.
As usual, we went for the tasting menu with paired wines, after starting with a cocktail. Each course was delicious with no 'weak' courses. Paired wines worked really well. A long, relaxed and tasty evening. Great for a special treat; we hope to be returning...soon.More
One of the best Indian restaurants in London. Really nice place and amazing dishes. Highly recommended. …………………………….
From outside, I have to say I wasn't expecting anything special but WOW...it was amazing. We sat in the pavilion and were served course after course of deliciousness. Had very well made and unusual cocktails, followed by exquisite starters (crab balls, and swordfish and chicken...tikkas). I think the best main was the mutton curry (very clove-y). Very attentive waiters and a generally very pleasant experience. Will definitely be back (perhaps for the 5 course taster menu with wine pairing!).More
