You see photo’s of this place and think “ooh, I should visit there”. And you should. But not because it’s a place you tell your friends about, or because it’s a nice visit. You should go here because in a world of Wethersp**ns and franchises,...this is an honest, genuine pub. Yes, it looks great on the outside. Yes, it is just as interesting inside. But above all it is a fantastic bar, with friendly locals (as a token Northern Monkey, locals are the big indicator). Of course you should take your photo’s outside and of the items i side. It’d be churlish to suggest not to. But make sure to take the time to actually take it in. Don’t just stay for one drink either. Have a few. Have food because places like this are socially important. You will probably walk past the aforementioned franchise sort of mentioned earlier-do you want that to represent yhe great British pub? Please, please visit. Chat, enjoy. Because you will LOVE this place.More

We ate a very filling meal at this beautful pub. The portions were very generous and the decoration beautiful for christmas. Will recommend!

Food was reasonable, but service horrible, cold and unfriendly. Thai staff really couldn’t be bothered and we were treated like an inconvenience. Will not return.

I’m sure it’s amazing all the time, but it’s really special at Christmas with the lights outside and interior decorations. I don’t understand the chamber pots in the ceiling. Interesting look. The staff were fantastic. We didn’t eat there but the smell of Thai food...filled the restaurant and was a delight. There are a lot of little tables to pass the time with a pint. It was a great afternoon.More

The Churchill Arms is a lovely old building built pre 1800. Visually very attractive externally - flowers and hanging baskets all summer and currently Christmas trees and lights. Churchill memorabilia inside- is is said that was the ' local' watering Hill for his grandparents. To...the rear of the premises is an Thai restaurant. Authentic Thai cuisine with chilli heat that can be adjusted to your personal choice. Plenty of fresh vegetables and herbs/ spices. Many vegetarian options. Great service. A wonderful long lunch in the pub and restaurant.More

Loved my Pad Khing and friend enjoyed a spicy Green Curry. Generous portions and very reasonable prices. Quick service and good beer. I will be going here more regularly. Oh and the pub decor and outdoor lights worth a mention too. Well done Fullers.

The pub and restaurant absolutely stunning so beautiful however the food was just ok. We had the spring rolls, prawn rolls and crackers with Sweet chilli sauce that was lovely. Main I ordered the chicken pad Thai, which I thought the chicken was slightly over...cooked, and not enough peanuts for my preface.More

Just had a lovely lunch with an old friend in here and…it is a nice place! I am not really fond of pubs and pub food but the food is a bit different so not bad. Portions are rather generous, service very efficient and prices...reasonable (we are in central London anyway!) but…I will go back to a different place next time I am in the area just to try something new!More

Food was fine until we saw a mouse running through the place..twice. We did inform the staff but they didn’t seem at all concerned so I can only assume this is known about -health hazard!

I've seen a lot of this pub on Instagram and decided to pay it a visit. It looked a little different than in the photos (maybe because of filters?) but nevertheless it was a cosy place with good food and drinks.

If you want a traditional Sunday lunch I would suggest going somewhere else, but if you want Thai food you can book the restaurant, but they’re so busy they only give you an hour on the table, it’s best to try and get a... More
