Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

BEST THAI FOOD IN LONDON! I literally wanted to give the chef a big ol smooch on the lips that’s how good it was. Please visit this place, the best vibes too. Bathroom not so much.

Came here with my daughter on a Saturday afternoon for some lunch. Really nice looking pub from the outside with ivy covering the front. Inside it is like a proper English pub and there is a Thai restaurant in the back. We ordered prawn crackers...as a starter and there were plenty of them when they arrived along with a sweet chilli dip. My daughter ordered the green curry with prawns and I had the jungle curry with beef. My curry was very spicy but it didn’t overpower the general taste of the curry which was excellent. I tried a bit of my daughter’s curry as well, which was also very nice. We also had a portion of spring rolls on the side. Not the cheapest…..£54 for a couple of starters, two mains and a couple of alcoholic drinks, but the food was excellent so not complaining. Service was good and efficient. Would definitely recommend.More

Very characteristic English pub.All decorated with copper utensils, little uk flags and lights.A warm red carpet on the floor.A yellow tulip on the table. What a suggestive atmosphere! But a real surprise was the thai cuisine inside. The staff was not very emphatic but quick. I suggest...spring rolls and rice with vegetables. They were very good!More

The pub is iconic and I was excited to visit until...I visited the restroom. It was disgusting! The pub is very busy and the prices are a little higher than in other pubs, so there is no reason not to have well maintained restrooms. Yuck!

I went to this pub with my family and we ordered some Thai food. The food was quite good but I think that maybe the dishes were a little big for only one person (they said that we must order one main dish per person)...and they told us to leave the table after 1.5h since we arrived. I can understand this if there were people waiting for a table but there were many other free tables for the people to sit. For the rest, I think is a good place, they have a good and fast service, and a nice staff, like one of the employees that talked in spanish (we are from Spain) and was vert attentive to us.More

A bit deceiving. My husband and I made reservations for dinner here far in advance, and showed up expecting typical pub food. From everything I had seen online, and from the outside, it appears to be an extremely decorated typical pub. However we quickly found...out they only serve Thai food. My husband loved it, however I am not a fan of Thai food, so I just got a cider. The food was good, atmosphere was fun and very unique, I would just say we were a bit misled on what to expect. Also, we got a little lost as to where to go when we got inside. If you just want drinks, you can just walk right in and go straight to the bar. If you do want a full meal, walk through the front door, and to the right, past the bar, to the back of the building is a counter where you'll find someone who can seat you.More

This restaurant is decorated so beautifully on the outside, it’s very Instagram worthy. The inside is cute and the dining leans more toward a delicious Indian vibe. I was obsessed and will be back. So much to walk around nearby too including Kensington high street.

A New Years Eve for the records. After seeing the city from a HoHo red bus, we decided to make TCA a stop but got off on the wrong stop on the second lap — about a mile away! The walk warmed us up a...bit and built up an appetite. Expecting typical British food, the kit was run by a Chinese family serving only Thai fares! Go figger. Had our usual British bitter ale and shandy. Had puu puus: wings, phad Thai, egg rolls 2 kinds. It was definitely a treat. The pub was everything we had imagined; quite a walk back in history. Appreciated the couple who invited us to share their table. The place was packed with merrygoers who seemed determined to welcome 2024 at TCA. We will definitely come back and spend more time pounding down beers! A must check out spot in a town of over 3500 historic pubs!More

We came here on my birthday for desert and the manager refused to give us a table because we weren't ordering mains. There were loads of empty tables too, so it's not as though the place was packed with queues for a space. Dreadful behaviour.

The Churchill arms is a very pretty pub, from the outside, but inside just another pub. I think the hype drew me in. The food was very tasty but it all seemed a little out of place. I guess I expected something better. The experience...didn’t warrant the large cab fare it cost getting to and from.More

I read Churchill Arms spends $25,000 per year decorating with flowers. I would think there would be flowers in April. It's a very charming bar.
