Delicious food, as ever. Serving staff over-attentive and I can't recall the last time dishes were served to the wrong recipient on two occasions, but they were very busy! Overall still a wonderful evening.

I ate here with my wife, seven year old son and nephew on Sunday 19 February. We were celebrating my nephew's 21st birthday. We selected the Lazy Sunday three course menu, which included a champagne cocktail. From entering to leaving the restaurant, our experience was fantastic. Staff made us feel welcome and provided an attentive, non-pushy service at the table.... More

we were looking to treat ourselves to a subtle good quality curry and this restaurant exceeded our expectations. The ingredients were of the highest quality and were expertly cooked and presented. Service was prompt and professional. It was expensive but worth it.

Visited the Cinnamon Club last night for supper with friends. Although we were eating from the set early evening menu the service was attentive without being intrusive and easily as good as those eating from the full menu. All of our dishes were absolutely gorgeous and we added some bread and the famous and fantastic black lentils to complete our... More

I love the fusion Indian food they serve here. Very inventive. The atmosphere is also excellent with all the old books. Drinks are good as is the service. It has a little bit of the "too hip for their own good" feeling, but really mild compared to other London hot restaurants.

From the moment we arrived the service was outstanding and this was followed by some amazing food. The menu is not huge but there is something for everyone, nothing has been loaded with chili so I think most people would find something to suit their tastes. We were celebrating a 70th Birthday and Vivek Singh stopped to chat with us... More

Stunning surroundings compliment the superb cuisine at this famous and highly popular place (you need to book) . The subtle, delicate and clever use of spices and top notch ingredients are what make this restaurant. Service is high-end and discreet as you would expect and staff have a good knowledge of the dishes and ingredients. We had the Bombay Vegetable... More

The old Westminster library room is an attractive venue, and the ceiling height gives a grand feel. The book lined walls are also certainly attractive. The service was excellent. The Lazy Sunday menu was interesting but a challenge as there was only one vegetable appetizer and it was beetroot. Lots of choices though and also for mains. The food is... More

We read both positive and negative reviews before went. So we were a bit uncertain. We went in a weekday, but the restaurant got filled by 7 p.m. The parking was not difficult on the front. The decor is unusual (with books on the walls), but very pleasing. The waiters + waitresses were very attentive and their knowledge of the... More

The quality of food is tremendous. Indian food at its most refined. Great value too. I love when a restaurant is priced reasonably. Service was good, not great.

Challenging the notion that Indian cuisine can only be created using age-old recipes and ideas, The Cinnamon Club demonstrates how evolution and adaptation can create a new chapter in gourmet excellence. Housed in the Grade II listed former Westminster Library, a stone’s throw from London’s Westminster Abbey, The Cinnamon Club’s neo-colonial feel fits perfectly with its distinctive style of Indian haute cuisine.

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
