Booked the private room for a celebration dinner for over 20 people. We chose a selection of tapas and the food was, as always, beautiful. Excellent service and a lovely atmosphere

Another of Camden's culinary gems, a long established and unpretentious Spanish restaurant with a tapas oriented menu. We were particularly impressed by the cheese filled croquettes, and the fish dishes of octopus and squid were freshly prepared and delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming, the clientele clearly loyal and regular. Highly recommended.

Small and occasionally noisy dining rooms upstairs and down with a large outdoor eating area behind. Wide selection of tapas with sections of Fish and shellfish, meat, vegetables and deserts. The food is cooked when ordered and delicious. The wine list is worldwide but mainly Spanish.

I have been coming here for over 7 years and in all that time I have only ever had one naff dish.Last week the standard was as high as I can remember. The problem is deciding what not to have as everything is fabulous. If you like fish try the grilled octupus, outstanding.Chicken thighs had been marinated and were pretty spicey. The baked fennel... El Parador is a little small so you get a bit squeezed in but it's worth it. The tapas dishes are really very good and well priced. The wine is not inexpensive but that's how places make enough to keep going. We had nine tapas dishes between the four of us and each one was delicious. I would happily return.... More

El Parador is not situated in an area of Camden noted for its culinary choice and so had some concerns particularly as I'd chosen!! How wrong could I be! This place is an absolute joy and well worth a visit (approx 300m from Mornington Crescent tube if not local). It is not the biggest or smartest place (big garden which... More

I'd never been before, even though I live quite locally. From the outside it doesn't look like much, and the interior is simple, though a perfectly pleasant space to sit in (and so much calmer than many of the other restaurants in Camden). Really friendly service. And, best of all, surprisingly delicious food. I mean really good food, and certainly... More

Visited several times over the last 7 years and never fails to satisfy - excellent cuisine, speedy friendly and efficient service and good wine list. Cannot fault. Their octopus is divine.

First of all the welcoming and friendly service. Then the food. We dined on a total of six Tapas dishes plus a very nice bottle of Malbec. The dishes were all reasonably sized and nicely presented. Together they presented an attractive variety of flavours. And all without breaking the bank.

I've been here twice with friends and been very impressed with the speed that the food comes out and with the quality. Sunday evening is often a quiet time for restaurants but El Parador was about half-full by about 7pm which suggests that this is a well-known place for good food and wine. We started with Pure de Habas -... More
