I did enjoy Turi. It is a professional and warm service restaurant. I'm sure it has a regular clientele. My pasta entree and meat main course were more than acceptable. The wine list was strong of course on Italian wines and a good selection. My only comment is the tables are a little close together and more space would be... More

They moved from Putney for a better location in Pimlico and......they got it but the food's quality worsened. It is still good but not as it was back in the Putney's days. Prawns were and the monkfish were ok. The desserts are copying the famous ones proposed by Heston Blumethal but nobody can copy his genius. The service is still... More

Visited Enoteca with my Italian brothers and sisters. They are fussy about genuine Italian home cooked cuisine and their choice speaks volumes for Enoteca Turi. It is indeed fantastic. Traditional Italian served with warmest of hospitality, interesting and enticing specials and intriguing desserts. Fit for special and family occasions. I will be going back.

Had a wonderful evening at Enoteca. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and we were welcomed at the door by the charming hostess and seated. The menu was very interesting, beautifully presented and delicious. I started with the carpaccio of beef with an anchovy cream which was supberb, followed this with the monkfish - light and sublime and perfectly cooked... More

I've enjoyed eating at this restaurant in the past when it was based in Putney, but now the menu is at a whole new level of originality and sophistication, from the complex combination of flavours to the presentation on the plate. It was difficult to decide what to order as there were so many items I would have liked to... More

Just wanted a lightish lunch as we prepared for our NY eve dinner party, so we popped into Orange Sq. and found Enoteca Turi open where Tinello had previously been. The restaurant is simply furnished with nice crisp linen tablecloths and napkins. Pleasant staff, sadly the restaurant was empty at 1pm, but then town was very quiet on NY eve... More

My favourite London Italian, or maybe even my favourite Italian restaurant. Wonderfully warm welcome, attentive and knowledgeable Maitre d and sommelier. And that's before you even get to the food. The menu changes regularly and presents lots of seasonal delights and well chosen wine pairings. Relaxed yet sophisticated decor and convivial atmosphere. This place is an absolute winner.

Giuseppi Turi and his team offer a varied menu of classic and contemporary Italian dishes, and the service is friendly, knowledgeable, swift yet unhurried. The food is attractively presented, tasty, and in ample portions. The wine list is extensive, with useful descriptions of the ( mainly Italian) wines, and displaying perhaps 200 separate options to cater for the discerning palate.... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
