saw the write-ups on their website and was very excited. They talked about pairing scotches with each course, and the outstanding fish and fresh menu. Eh, not really true. We sat at the bar and asked for the drink/scotch list and the bartender said they didn't have one. What he really meant was he didn't know about it. When we... More

We went before the theatre - my husband ate fish pie - I thought it was a little salty - I ate skate and it was absolutely lovely. The service is second to none and the location fabulous - we will definitely be back it is a lovely restaurant.

Food was good but not spectacular for the price. Poached haddock luke warm.Wine was over priced, staff did not know the difference between Gavi and the superior Gavi de Gavi. Staff unprofessional gossiping and larking about. Beware the cover charge AND 12.5% service charge

What can I say? Another perfect meal, this time to introduce my 16 year old daughter to the delights of this perennial favourite. It's old fashioned in an entirely elegant and positive way, the staff well trained and efficient with just the right level of friendliness, and the food is just perfect. Fresh and often familiar ingredients are prepared both... More

Yes, it's a central London institution and yes, it's pricey, but this place is still lovely. Just off the crowded Covent Garden crowded streets, the ambiance and service are impeccable. But the food - the seared prawns with chili and ginger are to die for! The monkfish with tiger prawn is also excellent. My friends had the Dover sole and... More

This place is obviously a classic of the West End dining scene, appealing particularly to fish eaters. The service is superb, the fish cooked to perfection and the wine list all you would expect. Difficult sometimes to get in, and not cheap.

Service was excellent, but food really variable. some of our party delighted, some not. smoked salmon and fish stew were amazing, i had fried prawn and squid as a starter which felt like eating chicken nuggets and fish pie which i... Sheeky's is an institution and even lunch before theatre has a dignity. The ambience is comfortable and cosy, but not with a lot of space especially if sea food platters are on order. The fish is fresh and excellent. We usually have the cod which is translucently delicious. The oysters are in season and good. There is a good if... More
