J Sheekey is convenient for a pre-theatre meal and we have happy memories of good food and service many years ago. However, the last few times have been disappointing, so we will be much less likely to try it again. Last month we had dinner before the play "Nice Fish" and sure enough the halibut was lovely. The plaice with... More

We could only book a table at the bar in the restaurant but the staff were so friendly. The food was fab. Great fish pie and great fish and chips. Drinks were sadly very expensive but if you want to push the boat out for a special occasion then it's ok. Lovely happy atmosphere. Would definitely go back.

As always good atmosphere, service, food and wine Plenty of staff offer good service. Bloody Mary the best ever as was the bottled Guinness to accompany the oysters, unusual for bottled but very smooth Recommend the two accompanments with coffee rather than a pudding

We chose the venue based on trip advisor and proximity to the theater. The service was extremely refined and the waiters were attentive. Although we were slightly indecisive when ordering, they ensured we received our food in good time knowing we had theater tickets. I wasn't blown away by the food given the price, but it was consistent and tasty.... More

J Sheeky has been around along time - and it has stood the test of time well. The food (mainly very good fish) is excellent, the staff are experienced professionals, the ambience is traditional but still friendly and warm. It is not cheap, but you are paying for high quality. That said, if you go for a medium price main... More

The Atlantic Bar is fantastic for a nice light bit to eat and a glass or two of wine. Unfortunately, reservations are almost always required. My favorite is Navaja (razor clam) and chorizo. The chief changed up the mix with prosciutto, while very good and I enjoyed it, I do prefer with chorizo. Remember the oyster selection is always good.

Every year we choose a restaurant to visit with friends and business associates and having had to cancel a couple of years ago, we finally got to visit for our annual outing at this great venue. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a fantastic atmosphere, excellent food and service. Will definitely be going back!

My wife booked this for a party of 4 of us for a pre-theatre meal. Maybe they were having an off night but such was the calamity it was such that I would never return and would certainly advise others to steer well clear. We arrived at 5:50pm for a table booked for 6pm and needed to depart at 7:15pm... More

J.Sheekey is handy to theatres in the West End, and serves both pre-theatre dinner and late post-theatre dinner. Count on seeing some of the actors from the play you've just enjoyed (Patrick Stewart in my case). I had a lovely pre-theatre chat with a Tony award winning set designer dining at the bar on another evening. I hosted a little... More
