We went for lunch on a warm summer day so they had the restaurant open style with the enclosed outside tables also being used. This is nice with the location being on a side street off the busy high street, so not as noisy though...More

I was disappointed by my visit. I thought the menu choice (the starters in particular) was somewhat limited and perhaps I should have reviewed the menu beforehand. I ordered the duck and asked for it medium expecting it to arrive as what I would define...More

Classy food and service at this place. All course from the tasting menu were good in particular the fish courses and short rib main. Would certainly recommend La Trompette to anyone looking for a West London fine dining experience.

We had a superb meal with family here last weekend. Every single course by all the party was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable and discreet, attentive without being overbearing. The tequila aperitif in particular was much enjoyed. The banana soufflé is still being salivated...More

If you can believe it, we imbibed here twice in one week. First, with friends who had not been there before. Second, with family who missed out first time. Both meals were impeccable. The menu varied each time, but quality did not. This is one...More

Had a wonderful lunch her with friends, and quite honestly it could not be faulted. The service from the staff from the minute we entered until we left was exemplary, professional without being obsequious. Each course was beautifully prepared. Will definitely go back.

Enjoyed a fabulous 3 course meal here on a busy Friday evening. Really couldn't fault anything. Stunning food, excellent service, extensive wine list, interesting menu. Recommend the lamb and the soufflé in particular.

The menu changes daily, I believe. However, I believe I may have a copy from the time I was there and will try to upload over the next 24 hours.

Frankly fish cutlery has become less and less fashionable even in top restaurants....also a good dishwasher does the job. Quality of products, cooking and service is more important.

Description
La Trompette opened in 2001 and serves some of the best food in London but without the formality or prices associated with the capital’s top end establishments. We closed at the beginning of 2013 for a complete refurbishment, and have expanded to include a brand new kitchen, private dining and improved customer facilities. The new appearance has not changed the focus of the restaurant. The aim is as it always has been, to give all our guests the best possible dining experience from start to finish.
