Found this place on TA as near Tate Modern and Blackfriars station (about a 10 minute walk ) Restaurant has lovely laid back feel. Staff were attentive but not obtrusive and the food was excellent and plentiful. We had lunch on a Thursday and walked in without booking but would imagine it gets busy of an evening. Would definitely return... More

I am so glad I chose this location for our Christmas celebration. The food was absolutely fantastic and was nicely presented with a great menu with lots of choices, the atmosphere was topnotch and not too noisy and the staff are friendly and attentive, what more do you want, its not cheap but the whole dining experience was well worth... Had a fab Sunday lunch here, the pan-fried sea bream was delicious. Husband enjoyed the roast beef with enormous Yorkshire pudding.Very friendly efficient service. Good choice of wines. Close to Waterloo station.

Having spent a month in South Africa at restaurants we consider to be the better than the most expensive London Restaurants for quality and presentation, this restaurant presentation and quality is equal to those in SA, Would recommend this restaurant for pre theatre meal prior to Southwark Playhouse which is in easy walking distance. Parking in the area however is... More

We had chosen this place for having dinner on our last evening in London as it was close to our hotel. It was a very good pick. We enjoyed every minute. The menu offered good choices also for my friend, who is vegetarian. I highly recommend the cucumber gimlet to start the dinner with. It was very well mixed. I... More

Having walked past the restaurant a few time the menu looked good and love the name. So when I was meeting a friend it was an obvious place. Good menu with some different items on it. The rib eye steak was cooked beautifully (rare) and tasted great. The chips were a different matter and tasted like badly cooked oven chips.... More

This place serves seriously great food (and it's good value). We had some really tasty dishes including the crayfish scotch egg, venison wellington ( the celeriac purée was amazing). You must save room for desert! Service was a bit slow as the kitchen was busy but compliments to the chef for some fantastic and imaginative dishes.
