We had a very disappointing meal here last Friday . I ordered a goats cheese salad that came without the cheese . I asked where it was and was given a small plate of dried out goat cheese crumbs! We also ordered a cheeseburger -...More

I recently had dinner there with my husband and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. I am allergic to gluten, and the restaurant easily accommodated me with a few minor changes to the dishes. I especially liked the root vegetable dumplings , which were gluten free...More

Eight of us were booked in for Sunday lunch so th the choices were varied. A few went for the traditional Sunday roast, Aberdeen Angus beef, but the presentation was much nicer. Two of us had smoked haddock fish cakes, but again not your standard...More

Booked for 14:45 for a delicious lunch. Super salad was light and an ample portion. The burger with extra portobello mushrooms and onion was yum. Service was excellent and welcome friendly despite us being the only ones left eating we were not rushed. This is...More

3 of us went here to celebrate my birthday. Lovely restaurant, great service, good food, but my objection is the price of the vegetarian option. A plate of roasted vegetables, the size of a good starter, cost £14 and although tasty, there was nothing to...More

Sorry about the lateness of this response, only just seen it. This place is without doubt a romantic restaurant. The staff is fairly unobtrusive and you can disappear into your own bubble very easily.
