If you around Clapham Junction, you really don't want to miss out on grabbing a bite here. With a cozy seating inside as well as outside it is a great place to hang out with friends and family. What sets it apart is its limited...More

Arrived to a very empty restaurant with little atmosphere at 7pm on a Friday, however the staff were very friendly. Ordered our food and wine, would highly recommend the tuna tartare starter and the fiano wine, very drinkable! We both ordered the monkfish dish from...More

I met with some good friends here and there seemed to be a decent drink selection (Mahou beer on tap, which I’m a fan of). Bartender was a little off with me when I tried to open a tab with my US credit card and...More

Booked this for a family get-together on Saturday evening. I was a bit concerned because there had been a couple of duff reviews on Tripadvisor but generally seemed OK - so went for it! Firstly atmosphere - some reviews had suggested that this might be...More

I’ve lived in London for three years and have to say that the food here was some of the best I had tasted and for such a reasonable place. Took my parents here but would also say it would be a fantastic date location with...More

I will say that this restaurant tries very hard at what it does. One point to make... I booked through Open Table online where I was promised a free glass of wine if I chose two courses from the seasonal menu. (I did not receive...More

We had a very enjoyable evening - the food was excellent (recommend the squid) and we were recommended a couple of great bottles of wine. It's not your typical Italian as it specialises in regional cuisine. We will be going back.

The food is 10/10 and absolutely delicious! The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 full starts was due to the atmosphere. I think it needs some more music playing and better furnishings as it feels a...More

I love this restaurant. It's so rare to find somewhere that is child friendly and provides the most amazing wine selection. P.S. For all you PC peeps, the food is also really good as well... I cannot praise the staff enough, it's a family run...More

Description
The former Lavender Pub was brought by a group of Italian chefs and food loving entrepreneurs who have achieved their aim of transforming it into an Italian restaurant with character specialising in authentic food and wine from Italy. . The Lavender Wine Bar and Restaurant offers a relaxing dining experience away from the stress and speed of the city. We pride ourselves in offering you exceptional ingredients, simply cooked and second to none. The ingredients used in our kitchen are always fresh. We select our fish, seafood and meat from Billingsgate and Smithfield markets several times a week so the menu may slightly vary according to season and availability. The menu is short, seasonal and includes beautiful Seafood platters with tuna tartare and king prawns. Exeptional Organic linguine with king prawns, calamari, mussels and baby cherry tomatoes or Organic linguine with lobster and baby cherry tomatoes. We also re-interpreted some English dishes with an Italian twist - try our organic burger with Pecorino cheese... We do have a weekly Special board with new Italian dishes usually seasonal. All the Wines on our extensive list (over 40) are from small independent Italian producers and from different parts of Italy. We also have 4 draft beers/ciders and many other bottled ones and we serve Cocktails.
