My girlfriend and I decided to go here for Valentine's night. We ended up with 21:00 booking. The aniseed focaccia came out, and all we got were the crusts. It was our mistake that we didn't realise it was set menu only and it'd be...£65 per person - but we couldn't believe this was true! Their lunch set menu for 3 courses and a glass of champers was £35, we were getting the same for £65 . Their usual evening set menus are £30-£35. As we left, each course added together would come to £45.
Anyway, we got over the price even though we felt we were being ripped off, we thought the food would make up for it.
It was okay at best.
Bland duck rolls; hardly any mozzarella with my beetroot
The Main courses were better - but not worth the £30 we were being charged for the course.
Creme brulee with a layer of what can only be described as lead on top. Probably thick enough to stop the radiation from chenoble meltdown.
We were in and out in 1hr15mins.
We didn't get the experience we were hoping for, especially not when we felt exploited by the price.More
