This place is amazing. £42 including tip for 4 courses and drinks for 2 people. All vegetarian, all interesting flavours, unique combinations and curry like I've never seen before. Cannot recommend it enough. Friendly and very efficient service too. Worth trying the mango lassi also - rich, thick, creamy and cooling. Will be back!

Tldr: food is great, service is good, price is fair. We have arrived here after a recommendation from one of the locals. There are 2 places for the same restaurant, one is completely vegetarian, and just across the street one that serves also meat. We went to the meat place and it was great. We had pickles and chutneys for... More

We went there with high hopes a couple of weeks ago as my friends and I were after a fun lunch and good vegetarian food. The food wasn't disappointing. We've ordered a bit of everything with 2 types of rice dishes(coconut-yum). Great flavours, lovely presentation. As someone who's had a few disappointing experiences with Indian restaurants, I must say that... More

Service is kind and fast. Atmosphere is real and welcoming. The food is very simple but good indian food, though there are also some special dished which are not in all indian restaurants. Maximum value for money! Totally recommend it.

This Indian has been in Stokey for years- and it remains the top Indian restaurant to visit (for meat eaters- otherwise go to the vegetarian Rasa opposite) I love the fact that every dish is original...no standardised madras, vindaloo etc.. a starter, main, side and shared bottle of wine between to comes in at a healthy £25... I'll be back... More

We arrived on time and they couldn't find my name in their reservations book. When someone did I was told they'd tried to call me 'Many times' to let me know we only had an hour and a half to order and eat our meal! I'd had two missed calls but it didn't occur to me it would be the... More

Went here with 3 friends (2 Vegan 1 Veggie) so I figured it was a good idea. I could not have been more wrong, my first thought was like the last reviewer that the curries had come out of a tin... flavourless, insipid and miserly. All in all we tried several starter and mains and we all agreed that we... More

We went as a group of six and each had the Kerala Feast for £17 per head which is a tasting menu and gives you a sample of just about all the curry dishes on offer. The food is lovely, and very tasty and there is lots of variety. Make sure you book the right restaurant - in Stoke Newington... More

Went to the vegetarian only restaurant on a Saturday night with some friends (vegetarians and not), and we all left very full and satisfied! plenty of good choices to share, we loved the dosa and the Malabar Paratha bread. Good wine list as well. Service could be improved.
