Very elegant upscale cocktail bar. Cocktails are served in bespoke glassware and are definitely perfected. But maybe too perfected. The Telegraph has named it best cocktail bar in the world. While I do not necessarily agree the Artisian does have great service and highly skilled mixologists. An experience for sure, but would not be my regular go to place as... More

The Artesian offers VERY innovative cocktails and a terrific bar menu. There truly is something for everybody. It certainly isn't a typical stodgy hotel bar.

the best drink experience of my life. best bar in the world. you feel posh because of the ambience, but like a kid when they bring you this cool toy of a drink. all the drinks were divine in taste and appearance.

I have been several times in this bar. Cocktails are great..personally I really like chameleon crystal, no more Colada etc. However cocktails are expensive (£20 each) and it has been a while since I have been waiting for a change in the cocktail list. For the price they charge I am starting to feel like my expectations are being deceived... More

It's a hotel bar. That is basically it, apart from the stupid prices. A dull room, really mediocre service from staff who can't hear or can't understand without repetition, and childish presentation of unimaginative cocktails attempting to justify the stupid prices. For example £17 for a measure of basic gin in a martini. Every other cocktail has a HUGE sphere... More

Very nice small bar in Langham Hotel with a great selection of cocktails and wide variety of whiskeys, wines, ... The presentation of the cocktails is really nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered some tapas and they were really delicious specially the cheese churros and tuna taco. Loved it!

Visited on Christmas evening. Music is more appropriate for the rave than the bar in 5 star hotel. Impossible to hear the conversation. The lighting is awful - impossible to read the menu. The place was full of badly behaved young people, mostly of middle eastern and far eastern origin, and sugar daddies. At one table people were popping pills.... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
