The Cirrik is a famous bird found in the South East of Turkey, renowned for it’s unique, delicate taste. It's a specialty of Ocakbasi barbeque restaurants in the district of Adana. During spring time, bird hunters would come from all around to catch themselves a Cirrik bird to be grilled on the Ocakbasi. Today the Kepez family continue these great traditions, ensuring the unique flavours and hospitality lives on with the great authentic Turkish Ocakbasi barbecue food at Cirrik 19 Numara Bos, Dalston.

Cocktail

It was a lovely dinner I had. They have nice range of cocktails and the spear ribs were amazing. Portions are quite nice and the atmosphere is pretty cool.

Totally fine.

Food here is OK. Nice booze list... Atmosphere is fairly jolly and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely Turkish Spot

Lovely! A beautiful space with great food, wonderful service, and a nice bar. Very kind owners. In an area with a lot of great Turkish food, this manages to stand out.

Must visit !

Been to this restaurant countless times. Amazing food, best place in London for authentic food with great flavour. Best chicken beyti I have tried! Lovely, family run restaurant - amazing and always welcoming.

Great Ocakbasi

We ate here on a recent long weekend trip to London. Stayed in Stoke Newington to take advantage of all the great local restaurants. We love ocakbasi grills and decided to give this one a go as queuing for Mangal 1 around the corner was...too much hassle. So glad we did! Nice range of cocktails, serving with style. Plump, crispy sigara boregi. Perfectly grilled lamb chops with a bright, fresh salad. Very friendly family run eatery. Highly recommended, reasonably priced.More

The best.

Best Turkish in London (and I've been to too many!). Just the best place. Unreal food, excellent cocktails, chilled atmosphere, lovely family run service. Probably my favourite restaurant in London. Cannot recommend highly enough!

The best chicken grill and fabulous experience

I absolutely loved the food here. Myself and my partner came here on a Friday night and came back aging 2 days later for lunch. Best grilled chicken wings I’ve ever tasted and I consider myself as a real wing critic. Lovely staff and great...service. Fab location too.More

Excellent food, great value for money

Very friendly staff, good service, excellent food, great value for money. What was important for me was a good choice of gluten-free options which were all clearly labelled on the menu. Vegan and vegetarian options were also clearly marked. The garlic tiger prawn starter and...the main course of Patlican Soslu were both excellent. My wife, who does not suffer from coeliac disease, had the falafel which was also very tasty. I would certainly go there again and would recommend it to anyone, including those who needs to avoid gluten.More

Excellent post-theatre supper

Four of us had a really good late night supper after a Grimeborn performance at the Arcola. Nice food, really friendly staff and a bit of an oasis from the Saturday night bustle of Stoke Newington Road.

Love the food Love the staff - LOVE CIRRIK

The whole experience was amazing. As soon as you enter the door you are greeted with lovely people with big smiles on their faces. Great food & drinks! Excellent baklava!

Excellent food and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Cocktails were lovely and Auntie's baklava was delicious. Such a nice atmosphere and a great menu. Would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Unassuming 5 stars

Simple is best. Menu had enough choices but not too much - they know what customers like! Staying nearby on a trip down from Scotland we took pot luck and how lucky we were. Can’t fault the flavours (brilliant) nor service (attentive but not pushy)...so I’m giving 5 stars. Lamb, seasoning and vegetarian all delicious. Tried another similar restaurant the next night nearby and it didn’t come close. I need to find out what yoghurt is in the accompaniments for when I’m cooking back home - it was divine.More
