About
The Cirrik is a famous bird found in the South East of Turkey, renowned for it’s unique, delicate taste. It's a specialty of Ocakbasi barbeque restaurants in the district of Adana. During spring time, bird hunters would come from all around to catch themselves a Cirrik bird to be grilled on the Ocakbasi. Today the Kepez family continue these great traditions, ensuring the unique flavours and hospitality lives on with the great authentic Turkish Ocakbasi barbecue food at Cirrik 19 Numara Bos, Dalston.

We ate at this restaurant a few days ago, the food was amazing. Loads of vegetarian options and good presentation. The wait times for some dishes can be quite long, but they do explicitly state that on the menu. The girl who served us was extremely nice and we felt very taken care of. Will be coming back! The only downside would be that the restaurant is located on a busy road so it can be quite loud if you're sitting outside.

WHERE DO I START - Woww what an amazing experience I had at this beautiful restaurant. I normally don't leave reviews but it would be an offense if I did not leave a review for this place.
The food was brilliant and the customer service was impeccable better than any Michelin star restaurant I have ever been to. The restaurant is a family run business and I have never experienced being in a restaurant and the family treating you as part of their family. The chef prepared the food and put his heart and soul into it and the results were phenomenal.
Now that I feel like I'm part of the family I will be visiting this place a lot more often.
Once again best service, great food, great atmosphere and lovely people.

Wife & I went with son & daughter in law for a relaxed un rushed lunch… and thats exactly what we enjoyed.
Seemed like a family run restaurant with mom overseeing, dad cheffing & daughter waiting-on. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we entered being seated at a large table with plenty of room.
Our waitress was timely, helpful, discreet and very pleasant. We chose a variety of starters & mains all super tasty and cooked to perfection. A couple of sensibly priced bottles of wine to go with the meal followed by complimentary Turkish teas.
Genuinely nice ambience, great food and nice staff.
If in the area again will definitely visit again.
Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely delicious food served with family pride. I stumbled across the restaurant after being told individual diners were not welcome at another 'famous' establishment in the area. The marinades at Cirrik are spectacular and their service is friendly without being intrusive. Dalston is an urban chic to hip type place and Cirrik a wholly understated, culinary masterclass. Thank you, Cem for your hospitality.

We went to Cirri for my partners birthday, with a friend. We were blown away by the dishes, we opted to order 'a few things' and all share and wow, every dish was perfect we will definitely be coming back! You can also watch the chef cooking your dishes right infant of your eyes.
What we ordered: Hummus, Sautéed Tiger Prawns, Chicken wings, Albanian Liver, Ezme salad, Lamb Chops, Lamb Spareribs, Lamb Beyti with Yoghurt Sauce
Most dishes came with rice, they also brought out a few additional plates - bread, salad, onion etc

Went there for a casual lunch with a Friend. The food is very fresh and the staff super nice for a very reasonable price.
The marinades for the fish and the lamb chops are all homemade and very tasty. Everything was really well cooked and had that nice barbecue crisp to it. Sides are simples but efficient.

The food is excellent
Very tasty, and excellent fresh salads. However, we waited over an hour after ordering for 1 of our main courses to arrive (20 minutes after they brought the other person's main course). Extra pita bread was ordered, but never came until we chased it; hard to get anyone to take a drinks order when we arrived. It was 7pm on a Friday night in December, and they were busy with Xmas parties, but they need to improve service so that it matches the excellent standard of the food.

Absolutely phenomenal food with home hospitality service. We live in far off west london and dream about this place often because the flavours are so authentic to Turkey and also so fantastic.
Definitely have the tauk sis (chicken cubes). It melts in your mouth and the spice mix is mind blowing.
Also love their very spicy green chilis, ezme salad and wash it down with one of the new wines on their wine list or a cold glass of Ayran!

The whole experience was amazing. As soon as you enter the door you are greeted with lovely people with big smiles on their faces. I had yogurtlu adana and can say the best in london!The customer service was the second best thing was the FOOD!! If you want to enjoy what you’re eating, now you know where to go😋😋

A late evening visit for something light and delicious revealed a superb eatery. We had a couple of starters, (sucuk and prawn) followed by lamb with rice. The lamb came with onion in pomegranate juice and a light salad, absolutely delicious! Accompanied by an Efes beer and a raki, this was a great meal! I strongly recommend Cirrik.

What a wonderful experience, from warm welcome, to service, to spectacularly flavoursome food, to the best cup of Turkish coffee I’ve enjoyed in a long time! The restaurant has a family feel, the food has integrity - not fancy, it doesn’t need to be. The flavour is all in the ingredients and the methods of preparation and cooking. Highly recommended.

Lovely food, quick service and friendly staff members. We had the bottomless brunch for 1.5 hours which is never enough time, but the food was lovely. As vegetarians options are always limited, but the starters offered lots of option. Not so many options for the main, but it was delicious. Will definitely go back but seek out the larger menu instead the bottoms less brunch.

Such attentive service from Funda, especially as one of our family has dietary issues.
Great environment, and best of all, the finest Turkish cuisine I've ever tasted, even compared to Istanbul. The flavours were extraordinary.
