We were recommended this by one of their regulars & he even booked us a table! We had little idea what we were going to, and it was quite a task to actually find it as it was tucked so far out of the way that you wouldn't just come across it. Overall, we're pleased we made the effort as... More

A very authentic place in the heart of central London that provides good English food and well known for its Bloody Mary.

We had just finished a great morning touring with London Black Taxi Tours and were hungry! I had a wonderfully delicious (non-fried) fish that was as lovely as it was good! Attention to food presentation is not what I expected in a pub! Despite the range on the menu, my husband could not help himself and ordered the fish and... More

Found this lovely place near the club we were staying at and it was lovely! Great atmosphere, beer and food! It fits the bill of perfect English pub, but is also really cozy. Awesome option to ooze out onto the beautiful and not busy street!

We were meeting English friends for dinner and wanted an authentic pub experience. For me that meant small, dark, cozy, loud, pints and fish and chips on the menu. This was a perfect choice! It was right in the city but was tucked away and seemed like a place you had to know about (e.g., not packed with tourists!). We... More

Great situation tucked away near Hyde Park Corner. Former officers' mess for the Grenadier Guards it oozes history and charm. Excellent food enjoyed by us all with cheerful service.

Great atmosphere in the evening, just few tables, so it is better to book. Fish and chips were great and the wine selection was very good for the pub. You have to be persistent to find it, a it is hidden in a private road/mews.

We went here for the beef wellington and were not disappointed. It was in a historic building and was a very local hidden gem. It is well worth the trip to get there for a great meal and drinkings. The chef came out and talked with us for a little while and the staff seemed very interested in hearing about... More

We went here after a very exhaustive day without reservations. Because the place is small, reservations are a must. Staff was welcoming. Food was very good, we loved the old English charm. Will eat here again if we have the time. A bit tucked away, but worth it,

Nice old pub on a quiet corner of Knightsbridge. Also some history here as Wellington's former Officer's Mess. Hard part is finding it. Worth the effort though.

Staying in Belgravia

Neighbourhood Profile
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
