Food was good however there was no atmosphere of any kind, if my clients hadn't been such great company this restaurant could have put them to sleep

If they can't get the food right then everything else - interior, ambience, staff, price etc - becomes irrelevant. Ordered 2 salmon mains. Neither were cooked through. Front of house staff were apologetic, happy to replace and served complimentary olives while we waited. 2nd attempt...More

We took advantage of the bavette steak and a glass of malbec for £15 and it was absolutely excellent. The chips are also outstanding. This is a very good restaurant with a superb selection of wines, both by the glass and bottle. The service is...More

Had lunch here for 6 people which was excellent and good value. The building is light (sometime too light) and airy with good service / food and wine.Would certainly recommend for business or fun.

I went here for a business meeting and it was really nice for lunch. The menu was quite diverse- I wasnt sure what to go for! Had the steak and chips which was really tasty and good size. Reasonable for London.

Stopped in for a drink after work and decided to grab some food as well. Ordered several of the appetisers but were quite surprised at how small they were. Wouldn’t have been too bothered if the prices reflected the size. Won’t be back for food...More

Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site
of an ancient meat market which remains in operation
today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally
renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky
