We had a pre-Christmas lunch with old friends and this local Farringdon restaurant offered a fantastic quality, relaxed atmosphere with great attention to detail and awesome wine list. The menu options all come with suggested wine accompaniments which is really useful if you're not familiar...More

Well who knew that there was this 'find' around the corner from my workplace - that I had neglected for five years. It went there for a friend's 50th Birthday celebration to be introduced to some of the best Italian cuisine that I have had...More

Popped into Vinoteca, usually on a Friday after work for a wee cheeky glass of vino before moving on to dinner. Great selection of wines and snacks, a helpful and knowing staff, perhaps a wee bit expensive but nice anyway

The wine selection is excellent, the food very average. The food menu was ok in terms of variety but the actual main courses very dry and bland. There are a lot of tables crammed in so, you won't get much privacy if there on business...More

I found it unusual but not unique when making a reservation that Vinoteca strictly enforce a 2 hour time limit on the table but upon arrival it became clear that this is a relatively small and very busy venue. The ambiance and atmosphere are nice...More

Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site
of an ancient meat market which remains in operation
today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally
renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky
