We’ve been here twice before and the food was delicious. When visiting London again we decided we book once more. I’m really sorry to say that the service was slow and poor and when the food came it was bland and cold. So disappointed. Unfortunately...we won’t be coming backMore

We went to the restaurant in Kings Road, Chelsea. It was a decent experience but their service is poor. They overbook their tables, have a hectic bar area, plus Uber eats and take aways, which means they can’t keep up with service and demand. Everyone...was complaining. The evening started off well. Staff were nice, food was ok, although the drinks took a long time to come, but we didn’t mind so much. We were moved to a table in the bar area for dessert and drinks because they wanted the table back. The bar area was overcrowded and an unpleasant end to the evening. Our drinks never came, despite asking many times for them. Lots of people were complaining. One of the waiters told us the bad service was because a member of staff ‘had appendicitis’. Then the manager came over and said they can’t give us the service they’d like so suggest we go somewhere else for a drink. Then they brought our bill and asked us to leave. And asked us again to leave 2 minutes later, despite our being £300+. It was a rude, odd and abrupt end to the evening. Wouldn’t recommend.More

We ordered takeout and it was really kind of a nightmare. We had a large order and a bunch of us were hungry and expecting it. About a half hour into the process after Mestizo accepted the order, they canceled. . No explanation. This was...sad. We ended up ordering a smaller order from them and another order from, can you believe it, Taco Bell. Taco Bell was very professional, palatable food, and delivered early.More

My friend and I ate here last Wednesday and the vibe of the restaurant was very good and as was the location. We had the tacos sharing platter, she ate the chicken and I had the beef and unfortunately I don’t think the beef was...stored/prepared correctly as I am still recovering from food poisoning from eating here. We also had margaritas which were filled with ice cubes, which I found quite unusual. I won’t be returning here.More

Was staying in local Airbnb right around the corner from this gem and the recommendations from William our server did not disappoint! Recommendations consisted of chicken mole, ribeye tacos and jaladas. All washed down beautifully with hand crafted tequila and margarita specials. Check it out...if your in the area for sure!More

I popped in this restaurant with some work colleagues after a team away day. We were recommended and pushed to have the tacos boards. I must admit I was expecting a lot better. Taco’s were tiny, the ingredients to add on the tacos were pretty...poor. No tomatoes, lettuce/salad. It was pretty average to be honest. The bill came and it was about £30 without drinks on top. So I was not drinking and so £33 for a meal that I feel I could have done better at home myself. Tip - get rid of the watery coloured liquids and have some bowls of fresh salad/vegetables. The bill was pretty confusing for a large group as well. Shame as I was looking forward to it.More

Unbelievably rude staff, I've worked in hospitality over ten years and I would never dream of saying what the wait staff manager said to me for absolutely no reason at all, not in a million years. Totally ruined our special occasion family evening out, and...it was expensive too! Got rushed through our drinks, got rushed through our mains, it wasn't even busy?! and they started clearing our plates before half the table had finished their mains just to get rid of us. Blasphemous service, worst I've ever had in my life. 'Authentic' only for people who don't know what authentic Mexican food should be, shocking for those of us who do. Hard pass. Would prefer to leave zero stars but it's not possible on tripadvisor.More

My friend and I went to the all you can eat Sunday brunch which was £28 for unlimited tacos, quesadillas, tamales, stew and main dishes of chicken, pork, beef and veggie as well as a dessert. Regarding food there was a variety to choose from...and we both thought all the food tasted amazing. Normally my experience with restaurant buffets is that they try and rush you out after a time limit but in this place we felt like we could take our time and chill which was a big positive. Only room for improvement is the service could've been a bit more timely with bringing us our drinks, but apart from that I would say this is easily the best and most authentic Mexican place in London.More

In my 63 years, I have probably consumed hundreds of Mexican meals.... However, I must tell you that the absolute best Mexican food I have ever enjoyed was not in Mexico, Texas or Arizona... but in London, England!! The Mestizo Camden is a wonderful place...located near the London - Euston Train Station. It is a family run business that is very evident by the hospitality, attention to detail, professional staff, and superb food. The food is simply magnificent and very authentic. An upscale Mexican cuisine, all fresh and prepared to perfection. My wife and I enjoyed the tostadas tapas - and the Molcajete Mestizo...the chicken and beef was incredibly tender, moist, and plentiful. The tomatillo sauce that covered the molcajete was absolutely delicious. Simply put, the best meal we had during our vacation....better than any English pub! On a side note, my wife has mobility issues... the staff was relentless in flagging down a taxi so we would not have to walk back to the cab stand at the train station - above and beyond! If you visit London - the Mestizo Camden is a must - you will not be disappointed... 5+stars!More

I was expecting something better to be honest. Food was just OK but nothing special. Furniture was a bit dirty. Menus were very sticky and overused and the noise level was too loud from intoxicated teenagers who were also having lunch. You can give it...a try if you want ethnic Mexican food, but don't go there for a special occasion. It was more casual than I expected.More

As a US expat in London for several years I've been dying for a legit Mexican spot. This is it. I've been to Mexico as well and this is quite close (although not as spicy as Mexico). Had the flautas and pollo e mole tacos...spectacular....Our friends had tamales and said it was great The service was great. The staff were fun and attentive. Prices were reasonable. And I loved the Mexican grocery store next door. Will definitely return!More

We were disappointed by the food. While service was ok and it was well presented, food quality was not so good, specially Nachos as starters. They felt like microwaved and very fatty (excessive cheese). Main courses were also tasteless, very plain. All in all, a...poor gastronomic experience.More

I'm sorry I can't help as I'm afraid I don't know. The main restaurant is on street level on the ground floor. It might be worth ringing to check. It was a Saturday early afternoon when we visited so very busy.
