What a great place to eat! We decided to dine at Rowley's to celebrate two 65th birthdays. We had a great evening. The staff were very pleasant right from the start and did everything they could for us. The food was excellent. Three in the...More

My partner and I enjoyed a very good dinner here on Sunday night with two visiting Australians. Took advantage of the Groupon deal offering 42% discount. However, we did have one or two drinks and some very good wine, so it did turn out to...More

If you're in the area and fancy a steak meal and don't mind it beng expensive and rather rushed then it would definitely be worth a visit. Our chateaubriand was £36 each with a salad and unlimited fries. We paid £20 for a carafe of...More

I booked a table using Groupon which offered a reduced price for chateaubriand for 2, with unlimited frites, and a side to share. It was cooked as requested, and we enjoyed it all. However, I think we were given more of a tail end of...More

I've been a big fan of Rowley's for many years. The chateaubriand is especially good and certainly worth the investment... especially as it is served with unlimited (and very crispy) fries. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Another fantastic find by yet another friend (thank God for foodie friends who know all the best places to dine at!). The chateaubriand was just so good! There was also unlimited fries...but who's at Rowley's or any serious steak restaurant for the fries?

This restaurant is well established and perhaps looks a little dated but actually it's quite a cool place. Nice staff, a good simple menu with the wine a little pricey. This was a Sunday evening so I guess that's why the other customers seemed to...More

If somebody hadn't told us about this restaurant we could've easily passed by, but we're glad we didn't! The food was delicious! My husband had fillet steak and I had the chicken. We both agreed it was the best we'd ever had! Definitely would recommend...More

We were due to dine elsewhere in Piccadilly but the restaurant turned out to be a disappointment, so recalling Rowley's from the past we phoned and they happily gave us a table for 4. As this was a Saturday evening at 7.30 we were delighted...More

St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier
destination for high end craft and bespoke design.
Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which
indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the
establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during
a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s
Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing

Chris you need to contact the restaurant to get answers to that question. It may be on their website in the menu section. You are unlikely to get answers to questions of this type from fellow reviewers.

Not many restaurants have a loyalty scheme, which just goes to show how very loyal Rowley's long-time regulars happen to be. The room is traditionally British, but also informal and relaxed. The menu changes monthly, and always features Rowley's tremendously good char-grilled entrecote steak or breast of Sussex chicken with herb and butter sauce and endless chips. The trad Caeser salad is also terrific. Short, intelligent wine list and the sun-dried tomato chutney served with the cheese is just right. Great for business lunches, or pre- or post-theatre.
