Menu was classic or unadventurous. Good place to bring elderly relatives who don't like 'foreign food' and prefer steak and unlimited chips. Manager was very helpful but waiting staff lacked customer service skills. It was good quality but expensive. It serves a purpose but would...More

We've been eating here for about twenty five years and were firm fans, even receiving the email newsletters as a reminder to visit again. We made a reservation and were shown to the almost completely empty rear part of the restaurant. We were given menus...More

I had a 2 for 1 Days Out Guide voucher (thankfully!) and so my friend and I both ordered the Aged Entrecôte Steak at £33.00. Presentation was impressive (it was served on a table burner) though the waiter's distribution of fast-food-quality unlimited fries was rather...More

A favourite haunt 10 years ago, I ventured back this weekend during a rare visit to the United Kingdom. The wine list has had an upgrade - it used to the weak point of this fun lunchtime spot. The house speciality: steak and fries, is...More

A classy restaurant to dine in, perfect for a treat or special occasion - or even if you are trying to impress someone. The host was very polite, and the food was absolutely wonderful, delicious. We had the Chateaubriand - which takes a bit longer...More

Groupon took us here for the chateaubriand and frites “ a volente” which were top notch. Add a cocktail each, a pichet of house red and a creme brûlée, and you have the perfect luxury lunch for a day off. Certainly fortified me for the...More

I can't say i felt particularly welcomed when we arrived. At no point did they offer to take my coat. It was a cold night so i'd worn a long trench coat. I was therefore ecpected to hang it over my chair - this was...More

St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier
destination for high end craft and bespoke design.
Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which
indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the
establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during
a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s
Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing

Chris you need to contact the restaurant to get answers to that question. It may be on their website in the menu section. You are unlikely to get answers to questions of this type from fellow reviewers.

Not many restaurants have a loyalty scheme, which just goes to show how very loyal Rowley's long-time regulars happen to be. The room is traditionally British, but also informal and relaxed. The menu changes monthly, and always features Rowley's tremendously good char-grilled entrecote steak or breast of Sussex chicken with herb and butter sauce and endless chips. The trad Caeser salad is also terrific. Short, intelligent wine list and the sun-dried tomato chutney served with the cheese is just right. Great for business lunches, or pre- or post-theatre.
