We prefer spontaneous people who aren't afraid to mix with others. The building was constructed in the 1840s and is the sole survivor of what was once a dense

Couldn’t even finish my food, like eating vomit. Service was very friendly but want old chef’s recipes!

Gunmakers is a small quaint Victorian pub surrounded by gastropubs such as the Eagle and the Coach (formerly the Coach and Horses) and struggles a bit to find an identity. Should it be a select bar selling craft beers and cocktails making use of the...More

Once you discover a place like this, it's really hard to return to almost every other pub in the area. That is particularly the case when one of your local competitors is the 'original' Gastro Pub, The Eagle, on nearby Farringdon Road. The beer here...More

Four of us meet here once a year. I didn't think about it at the time, but there can't have been any music as we could all converse without straining. It's an old fashioned intimate pub serving a couple of real ales. You wouldn't go...More

some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky
